Lickity drippity

I ordered this on skip the other night. I was far from impressed. The value for the money is not here. The portions were very small for the cost. The image of the sundaes shown online do not represent the small size they actually are. Very miss leading and are on the verge of being false advertising. I do not recommend buying from this company. I will not be purchasing again. Very disapointing. They get 2 stars only because the flavor was good. The portions are terrible!!

Delicious desserts great business idea. The only thing that was confusing at first was the cone flavour, frosted dip, and was not sure what the ice cream flavour selection was. It’s more options then I am used to at usual ice-cream truck but they have a good product that makes them. I had two different dips chocolate and birthday cake, and they always put eyes on them neat idea - families will love it.

So I had already written a review on this businesses Facebook page (Google reviews wasn't up yet for them) talking about my negative experience. My partner and I waited about 40 minutes for our order that they lost and even after asking them about it 3 times, we were dismissed by the owner who told us they were super busy and they would get to it shortly. By the time they got to our order they were sold out of the things I asked for. Admittedly the owner did private message me apologizing and offering a free one the next time I went in. However I was upset for awhile, I wanted to give it some time before I took them up that offer because 1. I've had better ice cream from other local establishments 2. Establishments that had better organization and customer service. Enough time passed though that I was considering giving them another go. However after reading the owners response to a review I don't think I want to. While I do like supporting local businesses and think they are great I don't support people let alone business owners being rude and condescending to customers who leave their honest experiences and reviews. Being passive aggressive, defensive and trying to discredit a customer's experience doesn't seem like good business practice to me. It also says more about you then them. The review had many positive feedback but you choose to get offended at one word they said. Which from my experience was an accurate word. Nothing was overly exceptional about the ice cream itself. The ideas are amazing, but when you actually eat it, it falls flat. The ice cream was average soft serve and the cones tasted basically the same even though my partner and i ordered different ones. All in all my personal experience mixed with seeing how the owner decides to respond to customer experiences and reviews I think I'll pass.

Great selection and variety of ice cream. So fresh and flavorful. Last night I ordered cake jar and LD special. Recommended to all people of nanaimo. Must try.

I've eaten from this place multiple times, mostly through doordash. I went in-person today to pick up and got the usual brownie bite sundae that also comes with skor pieces and fudge. And as usual, it was delicious and cost around $7.50, a reasonable price for such delicious ice cream. Portion sizes are reasonable as well (I'd eaten a bit of my sundae in this picture before I took it since it was so good haha).I've had their cake jar, caramel sundae, and dipped cone, but my favorite by far is the brownie bite sundae. The cake jar is $12 ish but the portion size is huge and can easily serve 2 hungry dessert eaters!! So it's worth in my book, especially with the topping options.The soft serve here is hands down the best tasting soft serve in Nanaimo and one of the best I have ever had! When I went in person today, the owner was super kind and even gave extra brownies in the second sundae I ordered for a friend, even though I offered to pay for it.Just a quick note about the two negative reviewers who left some large paragraphs about this place--they sounded pretty condescending. I can understand being dissatisfied with customer service, but I don't understand their attitude when they started by being passive aggressive first and then downplaying their negative reviews. Mistakes happen, especially with a small family run business that's popular throughout the day. If you understand that and want to support local businesses, then don't leave passive aggressive, negative, and condescending reviews on their page, and move on with your lives like normal people. Anywho, if you felt discouraged about coming here because of those reviews, please don't--it genuinely tastes amazing. Get the brownie bite sundae!! You won't regret it. :)

Many options for flavours however they taste like very artificial chemicals, I ordered one cone and it came out to over 7$ not including the tip. The idea is great, the ice cream comes with google eyes which is very cute but beside that the ice cream is just not goodThere are many other places with better prices and better products

I've eaten here a few times over the last year and I have to say, it's pretty consistently 'meh'. The idea and creativity is fantastic, if not original (think Chocolats Favoris). The ice cream itself is the lowest quality of soft serve you can get - on par with McDonalds and worse than Dairy Queen. The chocolate is great, the flavors are all pretty stellar! An issue occurs pretty consistently though where the chocolate is too runny and the ice cream isn't cold enough to solidify the chocolate fully, resulting in chocolate that falls away in large chunks within a minute or two and ice cream dripping everywhere. Eat fast! The flavored and dyed cones are a fun idea, however in my experience they all taste vaguely like fruit loops regardless of the flavor" you choose. The add-ons and sides are all done pretty well and add to the fun and whimsy of the product. I've always had a good customer service experience here. However

Cute little ice cream truck that is a perfect stop just before boarding the ferry! Really unique flavoured cones and delicious vanilla soft serve with add-in or chocolate dipped flavours. We got birthday cake dip and strawberry-vanilla and they were both amazing!

First time here. Super impressed with the ice cream and service! Will be back! Cake jar was amazing

Ordered the banana cone with a banana cream dip and sprinkles.. THEY PUT SPRINKLE EYES ON IT !!!! SO CUTE! The best ice cream I’ve ever had, thanks for making my birthday complete ◡̈
