An interesting stop off the beaten path. Not overly huge or long trails, but a nice spot to stop, stretch your legs and breath in some fresh air while you listen to the birds.

Very nice. A quiet afternoon enjoying the efforts of a plant lover from two generations before. Shaded benches, uncommon plants and a peaceful afternoon in the sun.

We enjoyed a wonderful tour of the Pegg Garden during Alberta Open Farm Days. The staff have done an amazing job preserving this unique farm and garden (our tour guide is pictured). There are many interesting botanical specimens to see here. The small market during the open farm days weekend event was excellent. I wish we would have had time to attend the locally sourced Rural Roots supper that was planned for the evening!
