Aquatech is booked solid on heat pump installs for months in advance for a reason. They have a great formula that they follow that makes them very efficient. The install team were terrific - everything was done within the duration estimated, including a not-small clean up job at the end of each day. We had EVERYTHING done - heat pump install, tankless water heater install plus an electrical upgrade to deal with the extra load.Their approach took all of the potential headaches out of our hands - they organized the 3rd party inspector needed to get the federal grant and are taking care of the grant applications at all levels - federal, provincial and, luckily for us, City of Vancouver. Their approach ensures our rebates/grants are the max available.Shout out to their electrician, Indy and his colleague, who were really nice, helpful and really efficient - it was not a small job! The rest of the install team - Jamal, David, Arman and Singh were professional and efficient, as well as very tidy. Coordination of all parties needed, plus addressing all our questions and the entire rebate application process was handled very professionally by James.A consideration for the homeowner is the additional work needed - replacing drywall, adding insulation to improve the home's overall efficiency, addressing any existing ducting issues to ensure good airflow. Also, if doing an electrical upgrade, consider that it may, as it did for us, prolong the completion of the job due to the required scheduling of BC Hydro around the set up stage & the connection stage.The American Standard unit is SUPER quiet - it runs on the side of the house, not far from our back deck and I'd say our dishwasher is noisier than the heat pump fan. They put a solid stand under it that will last; we recently noticed another home in the neighbourhood with a heat pump that was placed on a couple of wood logs, which will rot over time. Ours won't.All in all, really pleased we went ahead with this and glad to have cooling this summer that is much less impactful on the environment.

I used AquaTech for heat pump installation and tankless hot water system installation. The salesperson Jonathan was extremely professional and patient, answering a lot of our questions. The installation crew are great! They worked overtime during the worst 2 days of snowstorm in Dec 2022 to get the heat pump and tankless hot water systems installed and running. AquaTech also helped out with all the rebate applications and financing applications as well, sparing us all the headaches. I would highly recommend AquaTech for heat pump & tankless hot water system installation.

Our hot water tank and ancient gas furnace both needed to be replaced. After researching and communicating with different contractors, we had both done by Aquatech. Pricing was competitive and quality of work was excellent. Guys on site were punctual and courteous. There were some issues with the furnace install that Jonathan resolved quickly and the city inspector noted it was a solid installation compared to some of the poor jobs by other companies that he sees - always good to hear! Also James at the office was very responsive and helpful in processing the rebates available from Fortis at the time. Thanks again, guys!

Jonathan, James and their team are the best! They take very good care of the entire install, from scheduling the energy assessment, the paperwork for the rebates, the install date and follow up care too. Any issues they will follow up and take care of right away. Highly recommend his team to anyone- we’ve been telling all our family and friends!

Aqua-tech installed a mini split heat pump system for us in March 2023. Everything about the process was first class, from meeting with Jonathon and receiving quotation, to dealing with James on grant applications, etc. which they are taking care of on our behalf.The installation crew headed by Arman were all excellent. It was a major project for us with interior units being installed in five rooms of our house on three levels. They were tidy, efficient, and worked extremely hard to complete the project in just over 3 days.Aqua-tech was more expensive than another quote we received, but we are delighted with the finished product and have no hesitation in recommending their services to others.

Thanks to Jonathan, Roy and the crew, we will now be able to enjoy a safe and comfortable environment in our home during warm summer days. They made the process headache-free and efficient for us, including taking care of unanticipated hurdles with city permitting. They completed the work quickly and within their estimate. I researched Consumer Reports for the most reliable brands of heat pumps with high customer satisfaction, and chose American Standard because they had a local installer in Vancouver BC.Aquatech sized, quoted and installed an American Standard heat pump. They also took care of all the paperwork to apply for municipal, provincial and federal grants.The work was done on time, on budget, with minimal impact on our life during the install. The tech crew (Arman, Arkan, and Manjinder) were professional, friendly, helpful and responsive to requests.Altogether a good experience! I can recommend Aquatech to others considering a heat pump.

I was given a Heat Pump installation reference for AquaTechVancouver by a family friend and am very grateful for that recommendation. Jonathan and his team provided a competitive quotation for a top tier American Standard Platinum 19 Central heat pump. This unit will easily provide both winter heating and summer cooling while reducing my carbon contribution to global warming.What was a very large bonus was their helpfulness in organising all of the various rebates available from both Federal and Provincial sources. They were also able to provide access to an independent Energy Home Inspection which is required for the federal grant. Other companies were leaving it up to me to navigate through all of that on my own and at my risk if I missed some detail or another. This was a great peace-of-mind point for me.The installation team were very professional, taking all of the necessary steps to both remove my old forced air furnace and neatly install the new system. They followed up with American Standard supplied documentation and a 'walk-through' on the operation of the system and it's components. Site cleanup upon completion was perfect along with a follow up inspection by Jonathan.So overall, an excellent and stress free experience. I highly recommend.

After getting quotes from 8 other companies for a heat pump/mini-split system, we were feeling frustrated and demoralized by pushy sales tactics, ridiculously short labour warranties, lack of knowledge about government rebates, and overinflated quotes. Aquatech was the last company we reached out to, and we almost wrote them off due to how busy they were and the time it would take to get their quote. Thankfully my husband pointed out that busy was a good thing and to my surprise, Aquatech opened up their schedules in order to accommodate our timeline, which offered our first glimmer of hope.During our initial meeting with Jonathan, it became clear that Aquatech knows what they're doing. From giving us a clear idea of how the lines would be run, to confirming outdoor unit placement per our specifications, Jonathan proved to be both professional and very technically knowledgeable. Unlike with a few other companies' sales associates, I never felt intimidated or pressured when speaking with him.Although unable to beat our lowest quote, Aquatech was able to come close while also boasting a substantial labour warranty. Despite a snafu with the delayed availability of Mitsubishi equipment that we had originally been quoted for, Aquatech set us up with an even better Daikin system, while still adhering to our budget and timeline (May 2023). The install crew got the job done in 4 days, bringing in more team members as needed to ensure the schedule was kept to. Kudos to the lead, Yusaku, for being attentive to our concerns and questions every step of the way. We really enjoyed working with him, and the team seemed to have fun together despite the heat and complexity of the job.Our Daikin system runs well and is super quiet, and the lines look great and so clean -- I honestly don't even notice them when I am in our yard, which was my biggest fear in moving forward with a ductless mini-split/heat pump install. We are very happy with Aquatech's work and would definitely use them again for any future HVAC needs that arise.

They installed a ductless mini-spilt and venting for my house with an in-attic installation. Jonathan was thorough and patient in explaining the process and our options. The installers were pros who kept the place clean. They were responsive, on time and on budget. Honestly, we are not sure how they managed to do such a thorough and tidy job considering the tiny attic they had to work in. We have nothing but positives to say about Aquatech as they delivered exactly what was promised.
