We came for my birthday.. staff was excellent and so was the service. 5 course meal and we ate indoors which was a first for us in Ottawa 1.5 years which was a great experience. Amazing food. There are only a few places in Ottawa to get this type of good food but you'll pay a lot more for it.

Great experience at Stofa. My partner and I were celebrating our 3 yrs together and wanted a nice romantic evening with great food and wine and we were not disappointed. The wine pairing was great (mostly wines from Ontario) and our servers were very knowledgeable about where the food and wines came from explaining the reasons for serving those choices that evening. We will definitely be going back for more!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had, certainly in Ottawa. Beautiful room, outstanding, imaginative food and service, great bar, and music kept at perfect volume so you don’t overhear your neighbours but can easily converse with your own table companions. This is rare! Passion fruit soufflé was the best dessert I’ve ever had, bar none. A gem!NB: Our waiter was perfectly bilingual.

Had a nice meal here! My favorites were the bread rolls and the cream puffs. Steak dish was average and tuna appetizer lacked flavour. Everything else was nice and very fresh. Dessert was great-loved the chocolate tarte and pistachio ice cream combo. The tarte shell could’ve been softer as I found it hard to break up with just a spoon. Food came quickly which was a huge plus and service was excellent.

We went with a group of 5 friends to the special event Spanish night, and had the best time at Stofa! We ordered literally everything on the menu, and then ordered seconds of our favourites! I loved the tapas style option of ordering many smaller dishes so everyone could have a taste, and still have room for more! The service was perfect, and I really liked that the non-alcoholic drink options were very tasty- thank you!This is my 6th time at Stofa, and it’s consistently top notch.

Our experience at Stofa was fabulous. The food was amazing, the server explained each dish in detail and answered any questions we had. It is a little on the pricey side for the value compared to other regions of Ontario but it seems in line with the higher end food scene in Ottawa.

I had a delightful meal at this restaurant! The bread rolls and cream puffs were my favorites. While the steak dish was average and the tuna appetizer lacked flavor, everything else was nice and incredibly fresh. The dessert was fantastic, especially the combination of chocolate tart and pistachio ice cream. My only suggestion would be to make the tart shell softer as it was difficult to break with just a spoon. The food arrived promptly, which was a major plus, and the service was excellent.

This is the most recommended restaurant on our drive all the way from Vancouver. Every dish is exquisite and very tasty. This is a multiple enjoyment of color and taste. Also, the service staff are very nice. Although the price is a little expensive, it is definitely worth it. Every dish is worth waiting patiently and expecting.

Definitely one of the nicer restaurants in Ottawa. There 3 and 5 course options are a great way to just sit back, relax and enjoy your date night or get together. There options were all great, the waitress was very knowledgeable and their kitchen staff very accommodating with restrictions. Our groups two favorite and must try plates, are the octopus and the lamb. That lamb must have been top 3 lamb dishes I have tried. Enjoy.
