This dress and the making of it was amazing! Aimee and her Mum made me feel like anything was possible, not to worry about anything and also gave tips and tricks on travelling and keep cool in heat.We got married in Mauritius in September 2019.My dress needed to be light weight, so I could take it on a plane and not get too hot during the day and it was just perfect!I wanted it to flow beautifully and it did.I felt amazing on our special day and got to wear it twice as we had a party when we came home a few weeks later.I would HIGHLY recommend Sew Cutting Edge and trust Aimee and her Mum to make you the most perfect dress for your special day.Thank you ladies! xxx

Me and my friend went in today to have a look at what sort of dress she would like for her wedding. The lady we were greeted by did not even say Hello to us and addressed us with instant attitude. We proceeded to look through a book of dresses that were quick orders due to wedding date. We asked if she could try some dresses on to have a look at what shape and style and the lady said there was no point spending an hour and a half looking at dresses that can’t be sold to her as cannot be made in time! Irrelevant on whether it could be made on time this lady should have tried to help! Just interested in making money not helping a bride find her perfect dress, the most important thing to a wedding!!NOT the experience a bride should receive when trying to look for a dress for her special day. Never again will we step foot in this shop or recommend it to ANYONE. Such a rude woman who could not sell eggs to an omelette maker!! Absolutely disgusting.

Sew cutting edge were responsible for altering my wife's wedding dress and a few of our bridesmaids dresses for our big day. What can I say,.. Julie and Amie were nothing short of super helpful. I went in with a shirt which I loved but I hated the fit, I asked them to help make this shirt fit for my wedding and they did just that, my wife was so happy with the wedding dress it came out the shop looking more luxurious than it was when we went in! Thank you for everything x

Fantastic service good price, pleasant and friendly

I recently got my bridesmaid dress done from this shop, while I can’t say anything negative about the quality of work, my experience with the (assuming) shop owner was poorI was booked in on a Wednesday and arrived at the time and was told they had no one booked in, I think the woman wanted me to leave as she just stared at me while I showed her the texts of me booking in, she then proceeded to tell me for the 15 odd minutes that I was there just how busy she was and how my appointment has slowed things down.I wasn’t sure if she thought I’d just say ‘no I’ll go’ but I did my part in booking in.I was texting the owner about dates to pick my dress up and asked for a date I didn’t realise they were open and I got no response (a fault on both parts) she kindly offered to nip in on the Monday they were closed as I texted her after being ignored to tell her what was already wrote down in their books (that the wedding was the Tuesday)As much as I appreciate the sorting out after the miscommunication and ignoring or messages, the owner asked me when the wedding was and I said Valentine’s Day, she paused for a little bit and proceeded to call the bride and groom weirdos and attention seekers for having it on this date, I don’t know if she realised that the groom was my brother, they’ve chosen this date for a special reasonI just think it was really rude to own a wedding shop and be so open about judging chooses In the business that you chose to be inLike I said the quality of work I can’t fault but the owner and staff were a bit to judgy for the line of work they are in, I was very upset that a woman would be so nasty to people she doesn’t know

Amie is absolutely AMAZING. She is extremely talented and has produced 2 stunning dresses for my mum and mother in law for my wedding. They are both so, so pleased and so excited to wear them. They fit perfectly and we're exactly what they asked for.I also had Amie adjust my bridesmaid dresses and once again, they all fit perfectly.I will definitely be using Amie again and would 100% recommend her services to anyone looking to have a unique dress made with the best quality!
