Just got back from the China trip a few days ago. We purchased thie 10 day China tour with the Yangtze cruise extension package from Groupon on a whim. We did not know what to expect but we were totally open to an adventure. My husband are well versed travelers and we have gone on several higher price point group tours to Europe, Canada, and the National Parks in the US. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the tours both included and optional. There were several meals included which were for the most part western style Chinese food with the exception of the breakfasts. In summary the tour was a great value, well organized, nice group of people who were respectful of the time guidelines, and just the right amount of time. Below, please find the pros and cons so you can prepare for your journey:Pros: Experienced tour guides, great value, transfers included that were well organized, most of the hotels were nice and similar to a nice holiday Inn pr Sheraton Four Poonts. You will be responsible for schlepimg your suitcase so be mindful. Lovely group of people on the tour. Organized tours were nice. Breakfasts and most other meals good. Chinese’s Airlines great. Rachel from Rewards Travel was very responsive. Spa services and cruise staff were great. You get a different experience and flavor of China on the cruise. You will not be allowed off the vessel if you don’t do a tour! Our guide Leo for the second half of our journey! Shopping in Shanghai, The Great Wall of China, and having the privilege to see the Pandas in ChongChing after we disembarked our river cruise. I would recommend spending at least a night there so you won’t be rushed at the zoo. It is truly a one in a lifetime experience.Cons: Most bathrooms are not western style. Ladies be prepared to squat your way through China. I suggest carrying a small backpack, Murse, Fanny pack, or purse that has an ample amount of toilet paper, Kleenex, wipes, and hand sanitizer at all times. Most of the sites and beleve it or not and some restaurants do not supply the essentials. The hotels of course will. You won’t have time to do any laundry until you arrive Shanghai. Bring clothing that can be easily hand washed And dry fast. Our tour group size was very large. We had a bus full but Thankfully everyone Was respectful of the time guidelines. Rock, the tour guide in Beijing was stressed and overwhelmed handling such a big group. He kept us safe but moved to fast at times, was to rigid, and had temper tantrums. His behavior at times was boardering unprofessional. We exchanged words a few times. When He dropped us off at the airport for the next part of our hour to Shanghai he neglected to tell us that we had to take out any type of batteries from our suitcases. This included cameras, mophies etc that caused a delay. FYI, not worth to bring your laptops since internet access is blocked and VPN”s are just ok. When we landed in Shanghai we were greeted by Leo our new tour guide Who had the most incredible smile and demeanor. It was truly a pleasure spending the rest of our tour with him. He was at incredible guide who did everything in his power to make sure that we were all content and enjoying ourselves. I honestly can’t say enough positive accolades about him. If you are disabled, tire easily, or want a lot of free time this is not the trip for you! China is Not user friendly with canes, wheelchairs, has lots of uneven pavement etc. Download Google translator as the language barrier is beyond bad! Lastly, on-line they claim the Presidential # 8 river barge is only 5 years old. There is NO WAY that is correct. The vessel was tired, not clean to the standards I’m use to, there was a lot of Nickeling and diming for various things aboard. You are cheaper off upgrading to a suite on the sixth deck. You will have a better cabin, wine, beer, coffees, and sodas will be included.Hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did. Do not be overly concerned about the cons that I listed with the exception of your physical capability. I just wanted you to be prepared.

This is the 2nd time booking with this wonderful company. I would do it over and over again. We went to Dubai and it was an awesome and excellent experience. Thank you. Can’t wait too see what’s next

The service, price and planning by Rewards Holiday was excellent. The package price is unbeatable. Dubai is an amazing place to visit, however, hot to visit in the summer as my family and I did. I would have wanted a better hotel location, we stayed at the Hyatt Wasl District and neither that one or Hyatt Regency (the other option offered by Rewards Travel) is near the ocean or the modern part of the city so we were not within walking distance to attractions, nice restaurants or the ocean. That said, we were two blocks away from a big shopping center and metro station and one block away from the supermarket.The tour guides we had were the best we could ask for. They were both knowledgeable, curteous and offered way more than what was included in the oackage. They were flexible amd accommodating and made good recommendations for our free time.Museum of the future is not included in the tour and we chose to visit it, totally not worth the $68.

I booked the Central America trip a few months prior to the beginning of the pandemic. I honestly thought I had lost the trip, however, Michaela was very professional and reasonable in working on rescheduling the trip. Ultimately, she made it happen and I thank her for making the process so smooth. Hands down, Michaela is awesome! I would also like to thank all the great tour guides that we had through out the trip. A special mention to Alex! He was an outstanding tour guide. Very knowledgeable, courteous, punctual, and the list goes on for Alex’s professionalism. I would surely book a trip through them again.

We just returned home from 10 amazing days in Beijing and Shanghai. This trip is well worth the money. Make sure that you do all of the extra tours. The plays were as good as anything that I have seen on Broadway. You do have to go to the jade factory,silk factory and tea factory and you really don't get to see how things are done, but you do get a free lunch. The hotels were great, but a little out of the way of things. We went to see China, not to stay at hotels. We would definitely use this company again to travel with. Leo in Beijing was the best tour guide that we have ever had in our travels. The rickshaw ride and lunch in a locals home in old Beijing is a definite must do. Don't think twice about booking this trip.

This was the best trip in our life! Very organized and the tour guides are amazing!!! Jim and Jesse and Foresee and Frank they all care so much for all of us there. We booked this trip a year ago for our honeymoon and we had to change it for personal reasons. Joyce always helped us with all this process. We loved everything about the trip. The people that give one star don’t know what they’re talking about. I have been to Egypt, Istanbul, London, France, Amsterdam, Bruges, and many more, none of them compare to China!!! And Rewards travel China made everything easy and great! I will be going back next year with them again. They took such great care of us. Thank you guys for an unforgettable trip. If I could give more starts I would. Even the factory visits were very interesting we learnt a lot! If you are just booking the trip because the flight is cheap don’t do it. Book the trip because you will stay with your group and make long life friendships like we did.

First and foremost, Rewards Travel China does not even deserve a single star because this is the worst operating company I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. My fiance and I booked this trip through Groupon, however we are canceling our trip entirely because of the level of incompetence of this travel group. My fiance and I had concerns about the travel ban that China instated and after countless times of me reaching out to an agent, providing my information, and explaining my concerns, all they could tell me is that we SHOULD be fine. I tried escalating to a supervisor countless of times and of course they are always busy and they never reach out with more information or solutions. Rewards Travel China lacks professionalism and timeliness and I do not want to be on a tour that is poorly managed. At this point, I would rather eat the 2,000 dollars than go on a trip that is managed by a bunch of idiots. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS TRAVEL COMPANY. I have never been more infuriated and I truly believe this company is a scam. They are unhelpful, disorganized, have ZERO idea what they are talking about and for this reason, I am canceling our trip entirely. We spoke to Chloe and Oren several times, who are travel representatives. With Chloe, I spoke on the phone and she told me to send a follow up email and that a supervisor would be in touch. After waiting a WEEK, I called back and spoke to Oren. Oren told me that I would have to wait an additional 5-10 business days to hear anything, even though I had already placed the concern 7 business days earlier. After following up with zero communication yet again, Oren told me that there was absolutely nothing that Rewards Travel China could do because they have a no cancellation policy. This customer service was the worst I have ever experienced and it is because of their level of stupidity that I don't feel comfortable putting our travel in their hands. Do yourself a favor and book any trip by yourself. This is the worst company.

So to add this company also don't refund your ticket. I got a great deal with them on $799 per person, but the ticket are non-refundable and I talk to them about it but they said its non-refundable regardless of whether I am unable to get my VISA or whether someone in my party decided not to go. You would be better off going to your local travel agency and booking a ticket because they won't charge you for the ticket or anything if you are unable to go for any reason.

We went to Dubai last week and it was an amazing experience. The food, the transportation and al the planing was perfect. We didn’t miss a thing and we where so happy to choose this trip. Would recommend to any traveler.

First off, I must say that I truest enjoyed our trip to China with Rewards Travel China! This travel agency truly exceeded my expectations and we have an amazing time! While in Beijing, our tour guide Terry was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to squeeze all of our activities into our very full days with so much to see. Terry is extremely helpful and kind and does not get annoyed when I ask so many questions about China and the history and culture. Visiting the Great Wall was my favorite and it was absolutely breathtaking! My wife and I both agreed that this hike is the shortest hike with the best reward at the top. The most incredible view you have ever seen! When you decide to book your trip with rewards travel China, make sure to request Terry as your tour guide for Beijing and you will not be disappointed!A few of the highlights of our trip are the Forbidden Pallace, the Summer Pallace, the Temple of Heaven, and of course our favorite, the Great Wall! We are so extremely happy we found this amazing company and we able to see everything in such a short time! Now we get to go to see rest of the country and the second half of our tour! I would certainly recommend this 10 day China excursion trip to my family and friends!
