Char's Landing Hall & Hostel
Char's Landing was exactly what we were looking for after completing the West Coast Trail! A warm shower, comfortable beds, laundry, and a location close to all sorts of cafes and restaurants. We were a group of six, and Char was very accommodating and friendly!

Char's Landing Hall & Hostel
Wonderful place.Each room have 4 bunker beds.We spent total 2 nights and we were group of 8 people.Prior to a week, Charles gave us a call and provided all the details (building access code, location details, room information).She is really kind and helpful.Rooms are neat and clean.Wifi connections are too good.I fully recommend this place to stay.

This was a pleasant surprise, I never did a hostel before, so I was unsure what to expect. I really felt like home, had my own kitchen and rest area and the bonus was that night. We had some pretty cool, jazz music. Very clean as well

Char's Landing Hall & Hostel
What a lovely place to stay! Located strategically in the main thoroughfare of Port Alberni, so it's close to the main attractions there. The room is comfy, albeit a little worn-out. Their kitchen is packed with whatever utensils you may need, and there's also some seasonings and condiments as a bonus. The only drawback is the lighting that's too dim, but other than that it's perfect.

Char's Landing Hall & Hostel
Came with 3 other friends after hiking the west coast trail and loved Char's Landing! We were able to rent out an entire four bed dorm which had all the space we needed with an attached bathroom which was a nice treat. The space also had free laundry and a full kitchen which was just what we needed. Would definitely come back. Keep in mind it is a live music venue upstairs so I think at times it could be loud but we never really noticed it and I'm sure it's nothing earplugs couldn't completely resolve.

Clean, comfy, safe and reasonable! Char is an amazing host with a warm heart. I would stay again and highly recommend this coverted church as a must seess well as an excellent accommodation.

Char's Landing Hall & Hostel
Char's is a fantastic venue for live music and for private parties. Our nursing class just celebrated our graduation at Char's last night and it was perfect! Dancing, drinks and we were able to bring our own food and music upon request! Thanks again Char for such a great night!! You're awesome!
