EV Counselling & Mediation

I have had many different counselors over the years and started with Effie about a year ago. She has helped me overcome so much and has helped me clear my mind tremendously. She is so open minded and non-judgmental I highly recommend her if you are going through anything. I can say from my experience with all the other counselors Effie has helped me the most.

When my ex and I first split, I was so scared and confused as to where to begin. Quickly I got in touch with the first available mediator, which to my luck was Effie. I cannot begin to tell you the level of knowledge, professionalism and compassion this woman exudes, which made this very difficult time a little bit easier. Her demeanour was non-judgemental and from the moment I walked into her office, I truly felt she cared for the well-being of all parties, especially my baby girl. Thankfully this process is done for me, but to anyone who needs this service, I highly recommend Ms. Vardatsikos. She will not disappoint.

Effie is a fantastic mediator. She really tries to understand both sides and offer advices that are fair to both parties. She is also extremely efficient and will get things done quickly so that you can remain within your free hours. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for family mediation.

My experience in therapy prior to Effie wasn’t very good, i never really felt comfortable or supported. My experience with Effie was completely different: she is honest, compassionate and VERY good at her job, listening and reading nonverbal cues. I can finally learn how to open up in therapy in order to help myself. We’ve been working on my struggles with anxiety and self-confidence and if you struggle with the same things I highly recommend this therapist for younger people!!

My ex and I went to see Effie because we needed a separation agreement. She was professional and knowledgeable without any judgement whatsoever. Effie gave us all the information we requested and had a lot of good advice about our custody arrangement. Effie is everything!I had such a hard time with my anxiety and all of the things that were going on in my life and she was there to listen. She is reliable, funny, smiley and a woman with such a heart! She will really target your problems one at a time (based on what you want to start with) and even give you friendly homeworks. My experience with Effie, in regards to her counseling services, has been transformative, therapeutic and essential in overcoming both depression and grief. I cannot thank Effie enough for helping me address and work on these struggles. I recommend Effie to any young adult who feels the need to talk to someone who is both approachable and informative. For years, I have sought out help from many people in the field; social workers, psychologists, school counsellors, .etc., but I was never comfortable with them, I never truly opened up, and held back important information. The other times I sought out help, going to those appointments made me feel as though I was doing a chore I was not motivated to do.With Effie, I'm excited for our appointment, and she makes it very easy to open up to her. She knows exactly what questions to ask in order to have you realize your true feelings and thoughts about the situation. I am extremely pleased with her counselling and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking counselling.
