Recreation, Athletics and Wellness Centre (RAWC)

My review is specifically about the facilities being used as a vaccine clinic! The clinic was very organized and the nurses were super friendly and accommodating! We came at the peak of the vaccinations and they dealt with the rush really well. There were a lot of kids, and elderly and they dealt with it all well! They were very patient with us. If you've not gotten your second shot, please do so ASAP!

The pool is not open nor were renovations started or progressing in a timely manner. Promised opening in April never happened. Affects on children who were committed to the aquatics program before pandemic is not being considered by those making these types of decisons. Wasn't going through the pandemic lockdowns hard enough for these kids why are you making it harder for them.

Did a drop in class of water yoga. Great facilities

You should remain open till 11pm like pre-pandemic times. The pandemic is over. Bring back some of the machines that are missing. COVID can’t be used as an excuse anymore.

Great food court too. Options I think, for everyone’s lifestyle and dietary preferences

I brought my 80 year old MIL here for her Covid vaccine in March 2021. I wanted to share these pictures so everyone knows what to expect. There is a wonderful group of people here who are very patient, courteous and happy to help!There was no line up and no wait times when we went.A doctor administered the vaccine for my MIL and was happy to look at her short list of medications to reassure her she’s ok. A nurse or pharmacist can also administer the vaccine.We especially appreciated the sitting area after your vaccine was given. You are asked to wait 15-30min after your needle to make sure there are no reactions. I felt this was an amazing service.Thank you Peel Region for setting up and providing a wonderful Covid vaccine site.

Very organized vaccine clinic.They have at the pre-screening desk what vaccine is being offered.I got Pfizer today.Great job to all Frontline people. You guys are the real heroes!

The makeshift COVID-19 vaccine clinic is open by appointment only and it is performing at its full capacity, I would say. Very well marked pathway is packed with volunteers for additional guidance and so is parking, free for now, and well supervised by the security. For an instance I thought about getting it but argh! By appointment only ☺️

This review is specifically for the RAWC facilities being used as a vaccination clinic, which I found to be very well organized and efficient given the circumstances. All the staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make sure your experience is as contactless as possible. Your second dose appointment is booked before you get your actual shot. Overall, you'll spend about 30-45 minutes total from entry to exit. Stay safe and book your shot as soon as you're eligible!

Most organized place I could have ever been for my vaccine! Bigggggg kudos to the entire team involved in making this happen!!! You're all not just true heroes but also saviors and a big hope to bringing life back to normal!!
