Absolutely garbage. Here is my experience with CAA insurance:Been paying into my policy with them for nearly 10 years with the same insurance provider (Aviva)- CAA was the broker.I pay annually in full. 1 online payment was made in error to CAA Insurance, rather than CAA Manitoba. I was notified, and the payment was immediately made to Aviva. Upon contacting Annamarie at CAA, she was to have to policy reinstated.A year later I needed insurance coverage due to water damage- only to find out my policy has been cancelled. After some back and forth with Aviva and CAA, I find out the policy had been cancelled (even after charging me late fees- which I had no issue with, due to my error, but, for what policy??)! I had not been notified of the cancellation whatsoever. There was zero communication from CAA on this.1 miss-applied annual payment, immediately rectified, after nearly 10 years of paying in to a policy. It was then suggested -Since you were cancelled for non-payment

I switched to CAA home insurance after my coworker suggested it to me. CAA always used to be large company with reputable name in my mind, however, recent personal experience showed opposite. Before my annual renewal my premiums have been increased without letting me know and I was automatically rolled over into new year without any options. My “senior” insurance broker Leah Mell from Winnipeg does not reply to my emails and my questions are left disregarded,- not sure if it’s company standards or “senior” level of customer service. I feel like my my business is their last priority. The bottom line is I do not recommend CAA due to their below average level of customer service. Solid two stars out of five.

The people that work here are nice and helpful, but if you don’t go in person they will not answer the phone or respond to emails.

1 lady working there charged me extra $15 to get registration paper when I paid the insurance for my car there. It is free at other Autopac locations. I guess she just wanted to go home after the work. If so, just tell me in beginning so I can go to different location to pay for my insurance. Will never come back and no recommendation to anyone.

I am going out of my way to write this review. I currently hold a home insurance policy with CAA but I hope to change that as soon as I can. Here's why.I signed up with CAA in January of 2022 after agreeing to an extremely reasonable policy price. Then In may of 2022 a wind storm blew in a wall of my shop and I enquired into making a claim on it (first claim iv ever made on my house of 11 years). CAA quickly sent out a crew to shore up my roof to prevent further damage then a month after that to have an engineer make an assessment on the structure. That was late June. Since then iv been ignored. I had to get my broker to get ahold of CAA cause they wouldn't return my calls or emails. In late December I spoke to a person on the phone from CAA for the first time since June. They called me to tell me that my adjuster would be calling me in the next 2 to 3 days. Guess what , they never did. In the last 4 weeks iv called 2 times now always being told that some one will call me the next day, they never do. I'm worried now that if had a serious claim like my house burning down me and my family would be left out to hang for years. I am extremely frustrated with CAA . It's now February and I have a useless shop full of snow. I will be switching insurance companies as soon as I can. Unfortunately I am stuck with CAA till this claim is closed. I don't think they deserve my business or money.
