Verstraete Travel & Cruises

Unfortunately, my experience with Verstraete Travel exposed a company that operated with a lack of professional integrity and poor customer service. The company refused to refund travelers in 2020 whose trips were cancelled due to COVID-19, unlike many other companies. Verstraete held the hard-earned money of dozens of travelers for a service that they did not provide. It is unfortunate, but in my view Verstraete has displayed very poor ethical behaviour, beginning with their management.Beware of this company and look for other options before giving them any deposits or money.

A group trip was planned to Holland to acknowledge Canada's contribution to the liberation of same.Although all non essential travel in and out of both countries was banned, Verstraete felt quite comfortable in retaining all funds paid by group members ( approx $100k )This was my first time dealing with a travel agent, and will be my last.Given circumstances IMO the right thing to do was to refund all group members monies.
