Joi is an absolute pleasure to work with! She has impeccable taste and truly delivered our vision from invitations to every other piece of paper needed for our wedding. She uses high quality paper and her calligraphy is beautiful. She was responsive, delivered everything on time and handled last minute requests. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was working with Joi!

Joi has the most beautiful calligraphy and is an absolute pleasure to work with.We did all of our wedding calligraphy for addresses with her, as well as a number of spot calligraphy items to be printed on our wedding invitations. The final product turned out SO beyond beautiful, and her writing had a ton to do with that. She also created the most beautiful custom monogram for us to use for thank you cards. Our lighting designer for our wedding even took the file and made a cutout so that they could shine our custom monogram on the dance floor at our wedding reception!Joi was so easy to work with throughout our entire process, and was extremely understanding with revisions, changes, etc. She was extremely prompt to respond and super organized. She also was able to get projects done super quickly for us, which was very helpful. I attended one of Joi's workshops in Chicago. It was a small workshop with only 8 other beginner writers. I had a great time, learned so much, and came home with lots of goodies for practice.Joi's positive energy and welcoming personality made 4.5 hours go by so fast. She was encouraging and attentive. Joi began the class with introductions to us, to each other, and to our tools. I will forever remember Joi's solid speech about cleaning and respecting our tools... Because she's absolutely right. (She's also right about Viva paper towels being the best ever.) Joi showed us several important strokes and the alphabet. Each time, she walked around to each individual, providing feedback and encouragement. Joi lead the workshop with such a demeanor that made it feel very casual and conversational.Learning from Joi was a pleasure and a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Joi was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was quick to respond to emails and her work is the prettiest calligraphy I have ever seen. She was able to customize our ink to match the envelope liner and give us an extra special look. She is truly an artist. Joi is a joy to work with! Her calligraphy is outstanding and her professionalism shining.
