We were very pleased with not only the work done, but the good communication and the very reasonable quote. After an initial site visit, it was determined by the arborist on the crew that one of the six trees to come down was diseased and unsafe to climb. They did a great job of finding an alternate way to get it down safely in a tight spot (no bucket truck could reach the area) with minimal damage to the undergrowth. The crew were knowledgeable about wildlife trees, too, and left the trunks that way, which is what we wanted. We recommend Central Valley.

I have a row of VERY tall trees that were unsafe with broken branches hung up in the trees, ready to fall on a person/vehicle/my house. I called a couple companies for a quote, and Central Valley Tree Service gave me a fair quote for the work, and didn't add on questionable and costly extras that I received from the other company. They arrived on time for their appointment, and the gentlemen on the crew were very polite and professional. We ran into a problem on my end with an underground sump that I didn't know was on my property, and the crew re-formulated their plan of attach to make sure they were able to do all the work that I needed done for the trees to be safe. Their owners and office staff were extremely supportive when dealing with the inconvenience that my surprise sump caused - even though it was a challenge for them that we didn't expect. In the end my trees are now safe, and the gentlemen on the crew even did a quick cleanup of my front yard to make sure that no small debris was left behind. 10/10 service for me, and I would recommend Central Valley Tree Service to anyone looking for an honest company to take care of their arborist-type needs!

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Their communication is very poor. We were told they couldn’t fit us in, and he’d have to check his schedule and call back. That call never came!They have never had the decency to contact us directly. And then booked an appointment with the strata to remove our tree when we weren’t home. And charged more money than another company that had called us back.Very, very poor customer service! I got an invoice, and still no comments or calls back ever!

Don't usually write reviews but felt compelled because of the outstanding service and reasonable pricing. Right from the initial visit - I was greeted by a friendly man who offered his professional opinion and a very reasonable quote. As scheduled and on time, Jake and Dave showed up to prune my trees. Professional, polite and did a great job! Trees look amazing and they left the yard clean. Will defiantly use again and would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you!

We had Central Valley come out to trim a number of trees in our yard and remove some unhealthy and dead groundcover, an arborist confirmed that all the trees were healthy and only required a good trimming and maintenance. The couple guys who came to the house were great, they were very polite and courteous to my elderly mother who lives at the house. We are very pleased with the work done, the trees look great as does the front yard that had the ground cover removed. This work was all completed in a single including the cleanup and removal of the downed and removed branches etc. all for a very reasonable price. When we require tree trimming in the future I will not hesitate to call Central Valley again and I've recommended them to friends already and will continue to do so. We have used Central Valley for almost 30 years. They always provide excellent service. Their crew does a great job trimming our cedar hedge. Over the years the annual trimming has resulted in a hedge that is beautiful and healthy. Central Valley has also done an annual pruning of our ornamental Japanese cherry blossom trees and taken down numerous large trees for us. The crews are very professional and the clean up is complete and thorough.
