George's Trains

George's Trains is an amazing place for train enthusiast. Great products, customer service, and it is right beside the CN York Sub Mainline. This has been my go-to store for over 15 years and many more years to come!

Friendly great knowledgeable staff. So easy to order and pick up stock. Always a good trip and very affordable.

Years ago, I walked by the original location of George's Trains in Toronto all the time, always just looking in the window as they always had interesting displays. Fast forward 30 years... last week, I found myself in their Markham location with my son who is just starting out in his train hobby.Since we're new to trains, we have no idea what we're doing but the staff were very patient and kind to us. They were welcoming & friendly and didn't blow us off. They took the time to explain some key things to us (which are probably really simple to them, but again, we are clueless!). They also helped us figure out if our used parts would work and pointed us towards small but important items we would need to be successful. I felt like they really cared about starting a newbie out right.We can't thank the staff enough for their kindness. We arrived at their store completely blank" and left with great knowledge and excitement. THANK YOU!"

My first visit was when they were still at their Mount Pleasant location. I was amazed. Since then it has been the one and only brick and mortar store where I buy my model trains.

Considering the size of the store they have a very large collection of Trains, tracks and all the accessories you could need. They have stuff for all ages and abilities levels. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The store is well maintained and tidy. It's always a pleasure dealing with George's Trains.

I've been coming to George's Train's for years now. Great staff as always . Wonderful model train store with lots of products on hand from trains , scenery and more. Great store whether you're starting out or an advanced modeller. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice selection of N & HO scale trains. Friendly people!

This was my first time visiting George's Trains with my wife. The two gentleman working were very nice and helpful, they even brought my wife a chair so she could sit down and rest,which was a very classy move. I bought several items that I was looking for and more. They have a nice selection of HO scale goods and a decent selection of N scale stuff, which I model in. I will be back again as soon as I get a chance. Overall a great shopping experience.
