Don't use this service they don't finish the job I would say it is a scam He came to my house with no latter or person to help I had my chimney cleaned before and it too 2 people and they started on the roof and cleaned inside he came with nothing and didn't put on cap back on because he cleaned in our house and said he would come back with his girlfriend to put on the cap well I left 2 messages and he never came back to finish the job so I put a stop on the check then he calls trying to sell me a cap for 189.00 dollies beware aware of this place

I mailed them payment and left them a voicemail saying I had sent the payment and to be in the lookout for it, never got any response from them and then months later they sent me to collections for an “unpaid balance”. Super unprofessional, PLUS they blocked my phone number so I’m not able to call them at all and talk about the alleged balance I owe. 0/10 would not recommend. Very upset with how unprofessional this experience was.

The response time, communication throughout and the care the worker's took with our house completely exceeded my expectations. This is how every business should be run.

I called one day and they came out the very next day. I had my chimney swept and dryer vent cleaned and some parts replaced. I felt like great care was taken and the job was not rushed. I was able to see pictures of everything done, called over to show evidence of work, provided tips and instructions on proper use and maintenance. I am happy I will no longer hear squirrel and birds sharing my home. Best of all, the technician swept my laundry room floor when he was finished. That has been on my to do list for months and I think he did a more thorough job than I was planning to do. :)

I set up an appointment for Scott's Chimney service to clean my 80 year old widowed mother's flue and the closest appointment time was a week out and then he would not give a time specifically. I texted him the address and information and requested a round about time and he did not respond. So my mother missed church so she could be there for the appointment when ever he showed up and then he called and cancelled and rescheduled for another 5 days later. He agreed to 2 pm on Friday and when Friday came he got done early with his appointment and wanted to come out early. Since Mom could not be there at 12 noon he wanted to reschedule to the next day. He was more worried about being inconvenienced his self and didn't care about inconveniencing others not even an 80 year old woman. I find him rude, inconsiderate, and very unreliable. I tried talking to him about the agreed time he set but he didn't care he wasn't going to wait an hour and a half. Also he was priced $50 more than his competition.

I don’t trust this guy at all. He sent me a bill for work I did not authorize. He said I didn’t pay something that I’m not even sure what it was for. I paid it anyway. Very confusing. If you look at the reviews, offers feel the same way. Also he sends these bills that are sketchy and hand written like some 4th grader sent them. Do not use.

I used Scott's Chimney Service twice this year. Once for a chimney inspection and cleaning, and the 2nd time to replace a pipe on my wood burning furnace. Both times I was very impressed with Kurt, he is professional, very knowledgeable, showed up on time, worked quickly and did a fantastic job. I will only use him for any future chimney cleanings and repairs.
