Lovely family-run tea shop and my favourite place to buy Indian/Sri Lankan teas and herbal blends locally. They also have a wide selection of tea ware. Always a pleasure shopping here.

Phenomenal knowledge and personal service. Blows away the franchise Davids tea shop.UPDATE: What I like about this place, is that it is one of THE original Tea shops. You will not find a more knowledgeable staff and frankly the original experience is places like The House of Tea, not the David's Tea franchise. Here you'll have an owner that actually trades in tea and has all you need for Tea. The selection of tea pots is gorgeous and makes wonderful gifts. Where else can you have a blend of tea specifically for your tastes? Trying to find a tea for your kids to drink? Marisha will help you. Its well worth the visit for Torontonians and visitors. This is also a perfect place for house warming gifts. Note though this place is not cheap, but if you're looking for REAL quality tea a lofty cut above your franchise David's Tea. This is it a real tea shop with an owner who knows her stuff.

The store is absolutely beautiful and the woman who owns it is SO sweet. The selection is absolutely incredible from tea to all the accessories, drink ware, sweets and containers. Absolutely highly recommend, I easily spent $100 and I don’t regret it a bit!!

I started going to the House of Teas since they opened. There were not many tea vendors like this in TO then. The other notable name was Say Tea at Bloor West.I always found the offerings and the guidance at House of Tea )surpasses every single tea suppliers in GTA. Thereare so many now ranging from corporate to franchises and ocassional individuals.The tea inventory at House of Tea is vast.What stands out is the knowledge that Marisha has and the passion to explain each tea empathetically.I recently ordered Assam Mokalbari, Ceylon decaf, and Assam Decaf. These arrived immediately after ordering.Was pleasantly surprised to receive a sample of Assam Dirial. An outstanding tea that I never knew of. Just ordered 250 g.Overall a super place to find finest teas.All the best to owners and Marisha

The welcoming in this shop by Marisha was outstanding ! The selection of teas are wonderful too. Marisha truly knows the teas origins from the teas estates. The different notes and tastes of the teas. She is THE PERSON to guide you through what you are looking for. We were so impressed and we had a wonderful conversation that I will never forget ! We will definitely come back again and you should visit this shop if you are a real tea lover.

The best loose leaf teas hands down. The owner (Marisha) also gives free samples worth several cups. You can't go wrong with this place.But Tea is only the beginning.HoT also doubles as a modern variation of the one of those old Herbalist shops you would visit in a different era.If you're looking to say, purchase some Elder flower to help fight a cold or Lavender to sooth some nerves you can always trust her stock because her standards are so very particular you'd only be getting the best of the best.Considering all this, the prices are very fair.Remember you're paying for QUALITY which she never compromises on!It's worth every penny.

So much variety; great location, excellent tea, elegant and vibrant products, and kind staff. :) One of my favourite shops in the city.
