Geoff at Tailwinds did a complete panel upgrade of my Grumman AA5 from the steam gauge era to the modern avionics world. It involved a new complete powder coated custom panel that included a new Garmin audio panel, GPS, G5’s, radio, L3 transponder with ADS-B, JPI fuel flow gauge, ESI digital tach and Mid-Continent clock with USB jacks.Geoff was very knowledgeable and provided helpful guidance building out a panel that suited my needs. I met Geoff 3 years ago when my transponder failed. He lent me a used one while we waited for the Appareo upgrade to arrive so I wouldn't be grounded. Since then he has upgraded my panel with dual G5, par200b audio, radios and a GFC 500 auto pilot. Geoff’s work is impeccable, his prices reasonable and his expertise is unparalleled. This is a man who knows his craft.He updated my panel with two Garmin G5’s, an Appareo Stratus ADSB transponder, a couple of USB ports, wiring for my portable AERA 660 and GDL 52, and a GFC500 autopilot, along with several other smaller upgrades.
