CIBC Branch with ATM

Slow and unfriendly customer service.This review is based on multiple visits over the past 2 years.Today, November 3, 2022 was probably the worst. It took 3 indian guys working at the bank teller counters to help 1 old lady for approximately 20 minutes.This left the 1 remaining bank teller to slooooooowly service the rest of the customers.Please consider hiring people from outside of the same community or ethnic circles.I've been a CIBC customer for over 40 years and this branch is absolute garbage.

Although I have been a Toronto resident, this has been my home branch for over 15 years. Exceptional customer service, knowledgeable staff and a “client first” attitude, sets them apart from the rest. A special shoutout to Shruti Mathur and Moksedur Rahman for their guidance and insights over the years.

Horrible garbage customer service, incompetent and ill mannered staff.I never like going to this branch as mostly I’ve had bad experience with the staff at this branch. There’s no option as the Bristol Risd branch is completely closed and this branch is the only option left that is the nearest cibc branch.Recently it was a disgusting experience with an extremely incompetent teller Jyoti. I literally felt harassed by her behaviour.She needs proper coaching and training in banking and in customer service both.Further what is more upsetting is that the manager Sinthu needs some better training in the bank procedures rather than supporting the flop staff . It’s extremely concerning!

Went to this branch last week. We are CIBC customers, although we were visiting this branch for the first time. Very nice and helpful staff. We were helped by Alvin and Tarla, who were courteous and proactive with addressing our need. Very positive experience, and happy with the service we got.. Thank you!

When I go to the bank, I go to an Arab person named Muhammad or Ahmed. I do not remember the name. Good. He is a very nice young man, helpful and quick in service. Thanks to him. I like to complete my transactions there.

The financial advisors and staff have no personality or soul. I would give them a -5 rating if I was allowed to. Please do not bank here!!! Banking here is akin to falling off a cliff in your life. They do not have any knowledge about tax and accounting for seniors. The worst staff members are Parth Patel, Bhavik Patel, Gillian Anderson, Sinthu whatever her last name is, Niloufar whatever her last name is, and Shruti Mathur. These people don't utilize their knowledge properly. It's not the bank's fault; it's the personality disorder that they all have.

We’ve been trying to close my late aunt’s estate with this CIBC branch for a little over 3 years now and it’s still not resolved. They sent out checks to the beneficiaries but somehow, despite multiple government IDs and countless forms, still spelled our names wrong. Mind you we only received the checks 3 weeks ago. They still have not reissued to this day even after us reporting the issue immediately via email. The financial advisors and customer service at this branch along with the back office and estate department are absolutely horrendous. We email and receive (if they do decide to respond) canned responses about patience. I think 3+ years is enough to run anyone’s patience dry, no? We try to call but either we get hung up on or directed to voicemail. We tried escalating to managers but that was useless. Horrible service. Bank elsewhere, unless you have as much patience as the Pope.
