Reface Magic

We are working on designing a kitchen reno with Reface, working with Chantel. So far she has been exceptional, listening to our ideas, and offering thoughtful, useful feedback. We’re excited to keep moving this project forward with Reface Magic!

Excellent company at every point of contact from the salesperson Christie, to the show room mgr Colby, to the guys who did the measurements and those who did the actual work of replacing the front door panels, drawers, etc. We had a small issue with one of the drawers and they responded immediately. Heartily recommend them.

Reface Magic was assigned to do our cupboard door replacement through Home Depot. It started out poorly as the person who came to measure was very abrupt and rude..from there they arrived extremely late on the first installment date,then they failed to have enough of the correct hinges so they used our existing hinges which made the doors uneven..there is a door that looks smaller than the others and they said it was an optical illusion or the lighting..well we did not have that problem previously..now they will not talk to me and apparently are not going to fix the issues even though there is a supposed warranty..this is the short version but they are unprofessional,rude and lack integrity..I advise doing your research before using Reface Magic***Responding to the owner..I have been talking with Home Depot not once did they advise you not to return..I also noted that Home Depot sent you but they also did not advise you to reuse old hinges..now you're saying I'm not being truthful..perhaps you should check on this yourself the work is not quality..the staff showed up late..I could have worked that day instead of waiting around..once again NO Honesty..No integrity... this is not on Home Depot...I will not change my opinion and still do not recommend your company..everything I wrote is true.

We are very pleased with the quality of the cabinet doors, they did a great job on refacing our cabinets, the job was done quickly with no issues. Very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

We are very happy with the refacing of our cupboards. Tradesman (Kevin) was very professional and personable at the same time. His work was precise and he did an excellent job. When finished he took time to ensure that we knew how to use, and clean our refaced cupboards. He also did total clean-up when the job was done.THANKS

Fantastic service and product, from quote to finished work! They took our cabinets from outdated 1970’s brown pressboard fronts and doors that did not close to sleek white acrylic with chrome handles and soft close hinges. They even built a pantry door for us that replaced an old metal squeaky bifold door. The staff were great. The work was done on time. The price was reasonable. We are very happy!

Reface Magic came out to give my wife and I quote in the summer of 2018. After much discussion, we opted to do a complete kitchen reface. We elected:• -Raise Cabinets to the Ceiling• -Add in Drawers• -Replace counter-top• -Extend cabinetry to increase storageWe were given a quote and accepted. It was indicated that work would take three days to complete and the counter-top would take an additional day.August 30th, 2018 was the scheduled completion date.Actual completion date was March 25th, 2019. (Six months Later)Issues that arose:• Not all materials arrived on time. (We were not informed of this – the installer told us on the second day of install that he wouldn’t be able to complete the work)• The sink we had ordered through Reface arrived broken not once, but twice. Which requiring two weeks waiting each time. This delayed the counter-top installation.• When remainder of materials did arrive – the crown molding was installed in the wrong colour. Another re-order.• Our doors for the pantry were installed three times. They reordered it twice as the holes for the hinges were in the wrong spot twice.• The counter-top was not installed correctly. Edging was highly uneven and the seam was pitted. Counter-top company came out – took a look at it – agreed it was awful – removed it – re-milled all the edges – and reinstalled it.• Our extended cabinet was a nightmare. Original install had 14 inches of overhang – (I was told during our original quote that 10inches is max unsupported) They had to reorder and redo the extended cabinet. Another delay. At this point we added drawers into the extended cabinetry as we thought it would work better – this change wasn’t a problem for Reface. (We paid additional)• My understanding is that Reface makes cabinets on site but not the door fronts or side panels. Those are all ordered in and they take 4-6 weeks to arrive. That is why it was frustrating to have mistakes repeated.Thoughts about Reface• Reface always took my call – and called me once a week to update me. I felt sorry for the wonderful employee who had to call me once a week and constantly state they are waiting for materials.• The installers at Reface are amazing. They are very polite and care about their work immensely. They are detail oriented.• I wish the installers came out to give me quotes/ideas. John (an installer) had many ideas for improving our kitchen layout further. The person who came out to quote us in the beginning did not know half of what John did. (Probably a sales person)• Reface came out and fixed every issue, without complaint and more importantly – they wanted to fix everything.• Reface does not install counter-top. They work with Cascade Counter-tops. No reason to go through them.For a six month delay in finishing (and many problems) – I would have liked to see something come my way other then apology after apology. Nothing was ever offered. Taking time off work to be available for all the additional installs/fixes costs everyone money and is inconvenient.Would I recommend Reface?• If you are not changing the layout of your kitchen. Sure.• Don’t let the counter-top company come measure if you are changing anything. It won’t be precise.• Reface does not do back-splash. I used Renovation on Time and they were great. Fast and good prices.• The kitchen looks beautiful finished. You can see the pictures.Angus

We had our kitchen cabinets refaced and extended to the ceiling ! what a fantastic job they did , very professional, quick and affordable ! In 2 days I was back to my new updated kitchen ! I highly recommend Reface Magic to everyone !

We were very pleased with our kitchen remodel experience with Reface Magic. Todd was very professional when he came to our home to give us an estimate and explain the process. Our cabinets arrived on time. Our installer, John, did a fantastic job. He took pride in his work and was eager to create a kitchen that we would love...and we do. We would certainly recommend Reface Magic to our family and friends.

We love reface! They renovated our kitchen, mud room, our sons bathroom and our master bathroom. They provide a quote on the first meeting. They were here on time as scheduled and worked hard everyday. I would highly recommend them for your next renovation. I will be using them again for our basement bar and bathroom.
