Serious Coffee Vancouver Island Conference Centre
Friendly and efficient service. Also, we tried their classic nanaimo bar and it was probably the best one I had during our Nanaimo visit. It was more chewy and the chocolate was not as sweet. Good job!

Awesome staff.Super friendly, fast efficient service.On top of all that….great coffee, latte, mochas and specialty teas and cold drinks.Love the muffins and delicious sandwiches.Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating.Best coffee place downtown Nanaimo.Deserves 10 Stars

Really good coffee, Nanaimo bar and overall atmosphere. Have quite a bit of seating indoor and outdoor. The baristas were really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in making suggestions.

Great coffee that you can only find on the island! A bit pricy but that’s to be expected at a local coffee shop. Had the mango smoothie and it was pretty good. Nothing special about it. Their daily brewed coffee is good; not bitter or sour and they have locally sourced coffee beans to sell.

First time visit, first time customer at this little gem of a coffee shop in downtown Nanaimo. Friendly staff and quick service. Prices for coffee and food items are a bit higher than other chains shops, but that's not too surprising for a smaller, neighborhood coffee shop like this one. Coffee is good and the cranberry muffin was still warm. This location is on Commercial Street, and has both inside and outside seats. Metered Parking on the street.

Nice coffee and super friendly staff.But there is a girl with curly hair, blond. She never got my order right. I ordered the same thing 3 days in a row and the person who makes coffee gave me the wrong order every single time. It’s really frustrating that I try to support local businesses therefore in exchange I had to wait for extra 15 minutes for them to get the right order on my busy work days.I’m hoping the owner can actually take this seriously!!

I like the layout of the shop and it's got a great variety of sweet and savoury foods like breakfast bagels and muffins and scones.I tried a mocha latte and a breakfast cheese and jalapeno ham and egg bagel, deliciousThe next day I tried an iced chai latte and it was perfect.The staff is very sweet and they bring out your hot food to you when you sit down after ordering.Would definitely come back.

I can't say much about this place because I only had a coffee while I waited for an appointment for an hour or so. The coffee was fine and the staff friendly. It has areas for loud conversation as well as more secluded quiet areas for reading or for the usual customers writing their screenplays on their laptops.

Stopped here for my morning coffee while on a trip. I got the iced Nanaimo bar latte for myself and an iced matcha for my friend. The iced Nanaimo bar latte kind of just tasted like a regular latte? It wasn’t bad, I didn’t really get any nanaimo-barness from it but it was certainly an iced latte. The workers were really nice and the shop is quite cute. Maybe I’ll try another drink if I’m back at nanaimo
