Basement Foundation Repair

I had a small leak in my laundry room and called BFR on referral from my brother. Roarke and his crew installed an interior waterproofing system and sump pump in one day now my basement is dry! They even mopped up as part of the clean up. I recommend highly. Thanks BFR.

I had water in my basement the company that did the waterproofing did not honor they work .So I call Collen he call me right back . He came to my house and told what I need to do he was not pushy. he told me I need waterproof inside and outside I agreed . It was raining so they ask if they could do the inside first. I said sure so Collen and his crew show up Marley and John got right to work .And they took time to tell what they were doing step by step which I like very much. When they started to dig they found my storm drain was broken. Collen stop work so I could call another company to come and fix it which was very nice of him . It cost him time and money but he did not charge me . I had that fix and Marley and John started to work again they did the weeping tile on the inside and install a sump pump and backup battery on the outside when they dug down they found many holes the other company said they wound fix but did not. Thank god Marley found them and fix them . And when I need to talk to Collen he phone or email me right away like I was his most important customer that the way he treat everyone .When they were done they clean up everything. I will tell my family and friend and neighbours about they work and customer service it can not be beat

We used BFR 4 years ago and they had to dig under our Deck and suspended Air Conditioner to get to the affected area. I was amazed that they were able to do what I considered a difficult job.Fast forward to this year and another leak occurred on a different wall however I also thought there was a leak where the first waterproofing job was done. Collen was willing to honour the warranty. It turns out there was no leak there and they proceeded to do the waterproofing on the foundation. The crew showed me the cracks once they dug down and proceeded to fix them.The job was done in 2 days, the crew was friendly, hard working and cleaned up the surrounding area and driveway. I would recommend themto anyone needing their services.

The job was to do an interior weeping tile along a 25 ft block & mortar wall. I had 7 contractors (yes, 7!) come to quote this job. A couple got dismissed because they hummed and hawed about if it would be better to fix it from the inside or outside. A couple got dismissed because the quotes were ridiculously high. A couple weren't good at returning calls or delivering a formal quote. All of these are bad signs!Collen came to quote. He was on time & very professional. He evaluated the fixes from the outside vs inside with me and finally I felt like I had the info needed to choose between methods. He sent me a professional, detailed quote (on time). He answered my questions patiently and respectfully. His pricing was fair with no surprises. We booked his crew and they arrived on time, and were done in about 5 hours or so. They all were kind, and respectful of my home and my family. I took a lot of pictures and were in their workspace a lot but throughout everything, always was treated properly as a paying client. the work was done well, with attention to detail. Everything was left very clean. I didn't have to sweep or anything. I raised a potential issue and Collen came back out to the house to check things with me. It was a separate issue completely unrelated to the work they had done and a minor thing I fixed. But Collen never acted as though it was a bother, he wanted to make sure the work was done right and that there was no issue.I have a master carpenter for a brother and have been around contractors a fair bit in my life...and have grown to be incredibly discouraged dealing with a lot of them. I'd hire Collen and BFR again in a heartbeat. It sucked that I needed to have this done, but I really have no complaints at all. Props to him and all the gentlemen who worked on my place.

BFR was quick to respond to our call for help! They had a crew onsite really fast. They were on it and did a good quality job. They got it done for us. They were professional and sent regular updated pictures- we couldn’t be onsite. They did all they could do to make us happy with the final product. Thank you Collin, Roarke and team.

Been trying to get Collen to respond back to me for over 2-years about a Issue where they fastened the thick plastic black wall barrier got pulled down and split away at the top where they fastened it to the wall in a number of places. I have called and left a number of msg’s and even emailed and no response. It would be nice to get a response after spending allot money for the water proofing job on west basement wall and sides. I used these guys because I saw them on Holmes show and figured they would be responsible contractors.Not very impressed after installation support. I guess their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.Not a happy customer.
