Great one stop shop for Korean groceries and food. The location is fairly clean and carries prepared food, fresh produce, meat, dried foods, pantry and household items. They have pretty affordable food options here too. I picked up a tteokbokki/gyoza/seaweed roll combo but unfortunately they gave me spring rolls instead of the seaweed roll. Taste was not bad, especially for the price.

A good place for a quick & inexpensive lunch. Ordered gimbop, fish cake soup & gingerale combo for $6.98 plus tax. They have standing eating area. Very decent portion size. Not the greatest but pretty fresh.Only thing was my soup was lukewarm and microwave they had for customers to heat up food was out of service. Pointed out to check their steam table temp, staff acknowledged well.

The store is tiny, so you'll often find yourself squeezing to pass other people. They offer a variety of pre-cooked fresh and frozen meals, instant meals, snacks, drinks, etc along with groceries and fresh produce. A perfect spot for students & nearby staff on lunch. A great spot to grab a quick ingredient or two as well. The prices are a bit on the high side in my opinion, for everything that isn't the freshly cooked meals, but it's the only store of its kind in the area.I love ordering the chicken combo with fries, the little bentos, japchae bowls, and the onigiri, and then I usually pair it with one of the many drinks available at their fridge. Those are the most worth.

Between the two H-Mart on Yonge Street, I'd prefer this location hands down! Compared to the one near Bloor/Yonge Station, this is definitely bigger and has a hot/cooked food section that you can order food from. Recommended to stop by for a quick bite if you don't know what to choose!It's consistently filled with ready-to-eat food like kimbap (korean sushi) around 11am reliably. The staff is constantly ensuring all items are stocked and everything is displayed in a neat fashion. Either way, great source for quick food to go like Kimbap, Hot Food (in the heated section) or even ordering freshly cooked food! Around 2-3 cashiers on hand to check your products out.Their Hot Food section is called K2Go and has different operating hours but really good ordering and food choices. We've ordered the Special Combo K3 (Tteokbbokki + Seaweed Roll x 2pcs + Gyoza x 2pcs + Free Pop) and the Build Your Own Korean BBQ Bowls. Food was pretty delicious and service was good!

Have returned.Come for the groceries, stay for the fried chicken.Have been coming for 4 years - consistently high quality fried chicken although prices are higher now.I like their soy spring onion and sweet and spicy. Make sure to get extra pickles ! They're great.

A tiny store with a huge variety of items! They have a wide selection of candy, ice cream, desserts, snacks, teas, and instant soup. They have to go meals and a little take out restaurant inside that serves Korean BBQ and street food. However, both of those had very limited vegetarian options and the ingredients labels were sometimes hard to read. If you are looking for a unique dessert or sweet, then I would definitely recommend this place - a large selection of ice cream, mochi, cakes, and Korean candy. Prices are also very reasonable.

Pretty cramped and crowded. Items are usually well stocked but some price/item labels are incorrectly placed. Cashiers are efficient and generally have a good attitude. The premade dishes in the fridge I’ve tried are okay, not really something I’d get if I had other options.

I came here for the first time to get a lunch with a friend who recommended H Mart. They serve salad bowls and fried chicken. I got the chicken Katsu which comes with a salad, rice and sweet potato noodles. The food is prepared infront of the customer. They ran out of noodles and prepared a fresh batch while we waited. I asked for some hot sauce which I got in a separate small container. Taste: the salad was fresh but bland, lacking seasoning. The noodles were good, had a nice bite. The highlight was the Katsu! Very well cooked, seasoned, crispy and crunchy. The hot sauce adds another level to the taste. I recommend the chicken Katsu.It's a good meal and value for money. We were there after 1:00 pm and it was not very busy. 1/10/2023 Toronto

I was looking for a specific Korean food item. Three people in the store came to help me, and although they did not have the original item, they had a substitute that would work for my recipe. The product was not in the refrigeration unit, but someone went into the storeroom and brought it out for me. They went way above and beyond my expectations!
