The technician at this location is unbelievably rude, I believe her name is Stephanie. She has on multiple occasions been disrespectful while I am picking up my medication - She has zero consideration for patients or their medical needs.Get a team that is trained and well versed in mental health accommodations and protocol as you are supposed to be helping everyday people get the medication they deserve. I will definitely be switching pharmacies.

I was at this Shoppers location today May 23, 2023 around 5 pm. Don't bother browsing the beauty section and perfume section. You will have staff literally and shamelessly follow you around like you are a criminal. I have been a long-time customer of this place and I can tell you that the shopping experience has seriously deteriorated. I have never been treated like this ever before. My advice: Just come get what you need from the pharmacy (the pharmacy staff is nice though) and off you go. Not worth browsing around. If you want to browse items in peace, go to the Shoppers on Gladstone. The staff there is super nice and I ended up buying the perfume I was looking for there.

It's ok. The grocery, household, etc aisles are pretty good. My issues are with the pharmacy. There is a technician there who is consistently rude. She interrupts me every time I am trying to explain a request. And on a visit a while back, I witnessed a customer at the pharmacy counter struggling to understand how to pay due to confusion about their insurance. After resolving the confusion, the technician pointed to the credit card machine and said in a slightly raised voice, right there

In regards to Kiahna B.'s comments, the general population should remember that the private sector is very demanding while often quite stressful, unlike the public sector. I'm sure Stephanie encounters rude customers daily, while this particular location is not an easy one. I would certainly recommend SDM since they remain unsurpassed. My departure after years was simply due to misunderstanding, since I strive for clarity and honesty in life. As for Stephanie, she is indeed a very attractive and intelligent girl.

I was racially profiled at this Shoppers location. The moment I stepped in the Beauty section, staff started following me around and did not stop until I left. They did that to me only and not to other caucasian shoppers.

DO NOT get your prescriptions filled here. They claim false charges to your insurance AND refuse to give you your re-fills for weeks then claim they cancel them and you should have grabbed them when they where not filled. Absolute incompetent pharmacy and pharmacists.

Post office needs to be better staffed. You have one person working an 8 hour shift on a Saturday with out any scheduled breaks who is unable to have someone to cover the desk while she’s gone. - not sure if this is a canada post issue or shoppers issue but do better!

The pharmacy here is the worst in Ottawa. Twice in a row they have told me my prescription was filled and then when I arrived to pick up the told me that I should have called to confirm and they can't help me today.They also don't fill prescriptions properly, I've had to come back multiple times to get a medication that has two different dosage pills and they only give me one.The pharmacist is rude and unhelpful and the tall woman who works there is worse. Better off walking a little further up Bank to get something as important as medication correct.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would.The level of incompetence is unbelievable. I called twice, the first time the woman hung up. The second time, I asked to check the stock of an item, the same woman was absolutely rude and then hung up on me again. Didn't realize it was so complicated to use a phone in 2022.
