I didn't know this location had changed hands and been completely redone. What an improvement. Very good food with fresh ingredients and good portion size. Also a nice room. Go there and try it you'll be pleased.

I had a great experience at Sushi U+.to continue my Chirashi taste trip, I will make this location review.Find below the Chirashi presentation, rice is well seasoned and little hit of furikake style of seasoning.Fish selection is good.. and wasabi... omg their wasabi..I am quite used with wasabi, eat quite large portions.. but for this place.. it waa challenging to eat the whole portion.. if I need some fix in my nostrils, this is the place I will go for sure.thanks for the great service! and they also give some caramel candy with the bill.. nice touch.

The staff were very friendly when I came in and the restaurant was very clean. Nice relaxing music was playing. There were 2 tables set up when I came in for order and pick up. It was a pleasant surprise that they said it was ok to eat inside to do my work. There was no one else eating at the restaurant and it was very clean and bright, The server gave me tea which was very tasty ☕️ There is a great selection on the menu. I chose the roll combo and changed the California roll to a Scallop roll and added spicy mayo. The combo came with miso soup. The server was quick to bring more tea as soon as I was finished mine and extra ginger. This restaurant is great. I recommend trying it.

This place has the best sushi in town. Great service too. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends. The atmosphere is super cute and clean. Staff is so friendly. I'm coming back!!! ❤️

Stumbled across this place while waiting for my daughter to finish volleyball practice nearby. Big portions. The dinner box came with soup and sunomo. I didn't finish the roll, packed it for the hungry teen after practice. Would definitely go back there if I find myself in the area again.

Again and again this team gives us an incredible experience! This time we ordered Gomae, Tiger Roll, Chef Special Tool and Smoky Smoky roll. SO yummie! The torch on the Smoky smoky roll left a little bit too strong of a smoky BBQ flavor for our taste, but it was still delish! And gorgeous presentation. We're taking home the equivalent of an entire roll too! Our favorite sushi restaurant in Coquitlam!

I'm a regular coming to this restaurant as I work in the area and I am always blown away by the chef's cooking. He makes the sushi so remarkably tasty every time.Let alone the customer service! Joy, one of the waitresses, is a light in this restaurant and makes you feel comfortable during your stay at Sushi U and is amazing at what she does.Though the prices can be viewed as steep especially in today's economy, I strongly believe is justified by the amazing customer experience and delicious food!5/5
