The Stonehouse Pub in Sidney near Swartz Bay | The Stonehouse Restaurant & Pub is nestled in a private setting at Canoe Cove Marina beside the BC Swartz Bay ferry terminal. I never write reviews but this place was breathtakingly beautiful. the location and atmosphere felt straight out of a painting or movie. the food was lovely and the staff were super kind. I genuinely think this was some of the best food i’ve had this whole year. I highly recommend!!!

What a cool hidden gem right by the ferry terminal! Food was delicious. We had the truffle pizza and beet salad. Recommend for sure. Can't wait to go back again!

Chicken burger and pizza were delicious, caesar salad was mediocre at best, but overall food was great. Small annoyance that we called ahead and asked if our dogs could go on their patio, they said no but we could get take out and sit in a picnic area off to the side if we wanted. We did that and then there were two groups of people who came with dogs and were allowed on the patio… also would have been nice if they had mentioned it was cash only when we called.

I have found my favourite pub! If you are looking for an adorable little pub without too much noise and loud sports playing then this is the place! The food was amazing (with gluten free options), the service was wonderful, and I can't say enough about the building and scenery. The summer patio is also really amazing too. I am so looking forward to going back again and again!

Cash only was a problem for us as we were visitor's and weren't prepared. Took a long time for food to be delivered. Some was cold, fish and chips also overdone. Felt we were an inconvenience as we unknovingly arrived 15mins before the kitchen closed. PIZZA and skins were good.

Wonderful atmosphere and super cute building and surrounding, the outside patio would be lovely in the summer. Would go back just for that. The food, I was not impressed with, flavour was okay, presentation was okay, cooking techniques were terrible, fried fish were over cooked and burnt on the outside. Very loud in the dining room area. You go for the atmosphere not the food. Wine was good.

Good outdoor space. Friendly staff. Nice selection of Beers. Good food. But stay away from the Reuben sandwich. Tough corn beef that is cut too thick. Corn beef needs to be shaved for a sandwich. Fish and Chips were good. So that sums it up I guess it's a good place to go just not great. But would we go again yes.

We stopped in for a quick lunch o our way to the ferry. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was casual and made us feel very welcome. We had the chowder and potatoes skins were the best we ever had. I would highly recommend this pub.

The deep fried Brussel sprouts are novel and delicious. Very pleasant supper. The Stonehouse burger was good, a little less dark would have been better. The salad dressing however was very delicious the meal winner. Supper for 2 with 3 drinks was 75$. Good value for us.

First impression was great. Server was nice, food was absolutely delicious and the price is reasonable. This is why this place gets a 5 star.
