Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

If I could give 0 stars I would.We booked a massage and facial to be done at the same time. We booked weeks in advance to ensure this was possible. They confirmed our appointments and all was well.A week before our appt. we get a call that the person who is to do one of our appt. wants us to change as she has an event to go to (she confirmed it was a social event). This was unprofessional and clearly made us doubt her ability to want to work as who tells a client they have made plans with friends and can no longer do what was asked and scheduled weeks ago.We were accommodating and confirmed we could do the day before (still the same weekend). We called back to confirm our new appt. and left a voicemail twice. We called a third time a few days before our appt. to find out that only one service was switched. So now we would be going in on different days at different times.This was very upsetting as we had been very understanding and allowed the attendant to move our time slots but she messed it up.We cancelled and will not be going back.

I have experience some pretty bad customer service the last few years but nothing like hand and stone Oshawa. Months ago almost a year I booked all my massages for my fiancé we like to go together after work and I was told 2 months in that one of the therapist left and they were unable to give me the times I booked for except for 2 one in Jan and one in feb. I was disappointed but understand I call about 2/3 months ago to confirm my appointments was told everything was good to go. Just last week I called to ask a question and well I had them on the phone I asked for a 3ed time to confirm was told I was not in the system and my apparently my fiancé cancelled his. This never happened. Now being told I can’t have the days I booked back in the summer because they are already booked…. So it’s ok to give my spots away but not ok to take them back ? Manger takes a very long time just to get back to me . When she did was just offer us massages in a completely different city and different times. There has been similar situations happened before where I end up paying for a massage and do not get it…. Now they gladly take my 600$ sitting in “credits” but won’t give me the times and dates that my fiancé and I look forward to even booking months in advance. Now that I have had enough of this unprofessional business. management went quiet as soon as I asked for my money back not responding to my emails anymore. And I have tried calling many times to talk to her. Spend the little bit more and go somewhere better this is the mcDonald’s of massages. But at least McDonalds gives you the food your order.

I had Mehak do my facial today. She was absolutely amazing, and went though every step with me as well as recommending a new routine. With her help I will be on a healthy skin journey. Amazing service and would highly recommend!

Most people visit the place and they give their reviews but we were not even able to get our 1st appointment. They cancelled our appointment 2 times citing various reasons (understandable) and promised to provide a 3rd appointment asap but the communication from the store has been TERRIBLE. I had to call a few times to follow up on these appointments whereas they should be doing that! Even after follow-up, they said they will call back and they never do! And I call back again!Really disappointed with their service and not sure if I would recommend this place.

I had an amazing experience with my first oxygeno facial with Mehak. She is very knowledgable and she explains everything in detail. She takes her time and puts in so much effort to do such an amazing job! I am so impressed with the end results! I love how my skin looks and feels!! I would highly recommend Hand and Stone Oshawa for their amazing service!!

A welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Everyone I’ve encountered has been professional and helpful. Massages with Ashley are my monthly necessity. Laser hair removal has been a great experience. Leslie’s expertise and professionalism have been instrumental and I’m looking forward to my first facial!
