Edmonton Fencing Club

Best fencing coach you can find in Canada! This is more like a big warm family. The coach Jujie goes beyond and above teaching the regular fencing techniques (which she knows about best as the Olympic gold medalist). She takes good care of the kids and teaches the sports spirit. She even cooks for the kids when they do not bring the lunch in the summer camps. I son loves the club and wants to come here all day long!

My son loves this club a lot. It is worth to try it out for sure. Highly recommended here.

I’ve been fencing at this club since I was 13. I’m 18 and at Harvard for college now. Fencing at the EFC has changed my life. From learning resilience, to understanding a healthy life style, fencing will teach you so many more things than just fencing. I wasn’t world champion quality, but the fencing club people, jujie, other fencers taught me that life is measured in more than just achievements and numbers. I grew up at this club in every way and my experience here has shaped me into the person I am today. I will be forever grateful to my fencing family and I look forward to see the new members that join!

The best fencing club ever. My girl loves the coach so much. I am not moving anywhere because this club is here. You wouldn’t regret to learn fencing here.

EFC is special and lucky. We have 1984 Olympic gold medalist, Jujie Luan, to be our head coach. Somehow, it is like magic, every athlete, from 5 to 55 years old, once in the club, want to be in this family. I put my 2 boys in since 6 years ago, now myself, cannot resist the temptation and become an adult athlete of EFC. The club has such a friendly atmosphere, everyone from small kids to grand patents are enjoy to chat, watch and joke around here. Except our be-loved head coach, here are also full of fresh young coaches. They are born to fencing, full of energy and give their best back to our club. I love this big sister/big brother environment. Small kids love it so much. I love EFC.
