Favourite nail salon hands down!The girls are always so polite, kind, hospitable and caring. They are amazing conversationalists and my nails always come out looking amazing as well. Have done regular manicure, shellac and dipping powder. They all look great. Love the environment and the girls are very nice and sweet. I love going there. It’s a way to treat myself every couple of weeks. Definitely recommend it.

I decided to give Carina nails a try as it's right next to my apartment building. My experience was great. I was with Janet the owner and she gave me an awesome pedicure and nail extensions on my hands with dipping. She was awesome. I will definatley be back. Thanks Janet!!!!

Best nail place in Newmarket. they are very clean. They do a wonderful and thorough job. I tried the dip manicure today and it looks great. Would highly recommend this salon. They really care about the clients. Happy i found this gem in Newmarket.

My friend and I were trying to get our nails done without an appointment. We went to carina nails due to the previous owners reviews. They told us to come back in an hour and when we did we still had to wait another hour because they took people before us. I just had to get my acrylic nails off which I get is a process but when I got it done at a place in aurora they put my nails in a solution and scrape the rest off with my natural nail intact, while this place ruined my natural nail bed. For my friend they tried this new acrylic nail product on her nails. Normally when u try to get the regular acrylic nail off yourself it does cause damage but not enough for your nails to get completely Ruined from what I got from personal experience and the experience from others as well as my friends. This was her first time getting this done and while she tried to get it off herself it ruined her nails to a point where she won’t get them done again. It forever ruin her nail bed and I understand acrylic isn’t good for the nails, this nail salon said it would be better for it and caused the worst result she’s ever gotten causing some tips of her nails to turn black. The nail place seemed fake with their service just to get a good tip. Alothough many nail places are like this there’s a lot with geniuinly great service without seeming fake. I will never come back to this location from the service I got from my acrylic nail removal from the neglect they gave towards my natural nail as well and the health of my friends nails leading her in to think it’s a good nail product. There are better places to go to like Lilian nails for a cheap yet good service or posh tips for a bit more expensive nail job but excellent service.

Janet is very accommodating and very attentive to customers. They’re very detailed in their works and I’m very happy and satisfied with their services. I highly recommend this salon to all of my friends and to anyone reading this.

I went to get my acrylic nails filled and they decided to use a different kind of acrylic nail and it ended up ruining my nails. When the acrylic nails came off (some at the easiest hit off of a table) they would take off most of my real nail underneath. If the acrylic nail came off by itself, since they shaved my nail down so much, my nails turned black and were dead. They are still currently uneven, it’s the end of October, got my nails done in the summertime; some of my nails are almost grown fully back. Others are still half gone. I’m very frustrated with this, as this fill was not cheap (estimate $50). Waited to get my nails done for 40 minutes prior as well. I’m simply making this review so no one else spends their money on this ignorant business.
