Fallen for Nails, Hair & Beauty Salon

Taneal and her staff are great!! And Im not impressed that people who are reviewing this company have never even been inside her salon. They want to spite and throw hatred at this lady because of her medical mask exemption. Why has the world become so petty? Its not ok to attack other peoples businesses for things that have nothing to do with their business and talents. There are many companies going bankrupt due to the pandemic. Why would these cruel people who give bad reviews, try and make this happen to a single mom trying to support her family?If you go and use this salons services, you will see there is nothing but professionalism. They are fantastic!

I really appreciate this business protecting our rights a freedoms. Ignore everyone bashing this business for non-mask compliance. It shows their lack of compassion for their neighbours and a ignorance of what is going on. Not everyone can wear a mask.period. Everyone needs to calm down and get a life. Small business is struggling as it is, we need to support one another.

This place is great. I am so happy I found it. My haircut and style was amazing. I'm so grateful they accept medical mask exemptions as many businesses do not. Like many, I have a condition that keeps me from wearing a mask, which makes it very hard for some people to get a haircut! Thank you!!!!

Unfortunately won’t be back to this salon, went there to get my gel nails filled while I was visiting Vancouver island and had issues immediately after leaving.My sparkles that were supposed to be under my top coat were falling off.The fill didn’t even go all the way to the cuticle nor did the tech push them back or clean them. The top coat didn’t even go over the whole nail, causing them to lift right away and catch on everything. My nail on one hand was crooked. You could also see my old colour through my top coat. Also my nails were somehow lumpy and not filed evenly.I contacted them a day or two later with my concerns, they gave me an appointment a week from then which wasn’t optimal but that’s okay.I came in and sat down, I then politely explained what was going on with the same tech that did my nails and the boss came over and inspected my nails also. The boss said to me “Gee have you been looking at these under a microscope?”I guess I shouldn’t notice imperfections at the end of my hands?Not one apology, or even any enthusiastic motivation to make me feel like a paying customer. I just felt like I was in the way, and a huge inconvenience.I left with my nail art looking worse since it wasn’t removed entirely to fix these problems, just drawn over.And left with the same problems and crooked nails as I arrived.If I didn’t give them the chance to fix it, I wouldn’t have written this review.Since I gave them the chance to rectify the situation, and ended up in the same spot or worse - hence this review.Should’ve looked further at their 1 star google reviews before booking an appointment.I’ll get my usual nail tech to remove these entirely and get a fresh new set to rid my hands of the mess.

All the ladies at Fallen for Nails are wonderful and lovely people. I get both my hair and nails done there. Such a warm and welcoming place. I also very much appreciate that they honor medical mask exemptions.

Extremely inconsiderate that the owner is refusing to wear a mask. I work in the beauty industry and think it’s a disgusting show of lack of empathy towards her clients. I hope no one immune compromised has entered the premises, I will definitely be spreading the word to avoid this business. Shame on you.

I think it's great that she's not wearing a mask and allowing customers to come in without a maskIt's good to see they refuse to live in fear like a lot of others and they aren't letting the MSM think for them.I wish more businesses would follow this lovely lady's lead.

I would never go into this salon, NEVER! After reading the article about the owner refusing to wear a mask and allowing customers to do the same, I was appalled that a business owner would be so selfish. Do your part to keep everyone safe and wear a frickin mask!
