Award Cleaners

Called and asked if they clean weighted blankets...dropped off the blanket in July and they told me it wouldn't be ready til August 16 because they would be closed for some time. I told her it was ok because i would be out of town anyway. I go to pick up my blanket on August 21 and it's not cleaned because it's too heavy. She claims she called, but there was no voicemail message. What a waste of my time and energy. If they didn't clean weighted blankets, they should have said so over the phone and not accepted the damn blanket. Try leaving a voicemail message if you call. Since i was out of town, my phone 100% went directly to voicemail when she called. When that happened, she should have known i would not see a missed call. I had no clue she called and she didn't call back. Not sure what was her thought process.

We had a bit of an emergency with uniforms due to changing teen bodies and they offered to stay later so she didn’t have to go into school feeling awkward. We’re new to the area so it was a relief to find this place AND have a positive experience.

In February, 2020, I took a pullover to them for a zipper replacement. They did the work with very high quality materials, quickly, and very inexpensively. These are hard working, good people. I would very highly recommend them.

the owner is very rude. he told me he doesn't need anymore customers because he has a contract with Harry Rosen and Holt Renfrew.

I have been having great experiences with this dry cleaner so the negative reviews are weird to me. Perhaps new management?

I was in need of an emergency zipper fix that broke on a skirt. The two ladies who assisted me are amazing. I expressed how I needed the skirt zipper fixed very fast preferably within the hour. I was told to leave the skirt and that I will be called within the hour to tell me if it can be fixed the same day or first thing in the morning the following day. I received a call back in LESS then an hour letting me know my skirt was fixed. The service was VERY fast and that’s what I was looking for. Great quick service, very polite, assistive and professional.

Horrible customer service experience that I have to share. I'm a new Mom & I've been a customer here for just over a year. With previous visits I was very frustrated because the hours on the door & online are not accurate. Often I have passed the location and there is a handwritten sign stating that it's closed until 4pm. Or be back in 15 minutes. I have waited for the employee to return and have left due to frustration. Today I went by the store at 2pm & the sign said will return at 4pm. I have a newborn baby & had to wait for my partner to get home. I left my baby & partner at home and went to the store for 630pm. The employee refused to dryclean my item because it was dog related". He told me that he had a contract and could not clean anything "dog related". He also told me the owner was Italian but a "Jew" and it was not worth their time/money to clean my item. He told me to find an "Indian" and they would clean it for me. I am shocked with the racial comments that were made and I will never be supporting this business again. I would advise against giving this company any business. They are unreliable and racist."

I have to admit that I had a very good experience with this little cleaners. Very nice and always professional services with the smile. They did a lot of alterations for me and every shirt or jacket or sweater were beautifully cleaned.

Dropped off a suit and leather jacket for cleaning. Had a good and quick experience!

Got some of my favourite pieces tailored and adjusted to my liking, and the lady here never fails to do exactly what I want. You can even try on your piece of clothing needed for alteration in the change room here and ask them to make recommendations. Price is cheaper than other tailor shops as well!
