Very quick to respond negatively to potential Indigenous employees eager in working for Vancouver Native Housing Society’s (VNHS) tenants and relations.It’s unfortunate Human Resources and the overall society at VNHS lacks an Indigenous perspective.All my Relations.

Evacuee from a building that caught on fire. Relocated twice in temporary housing until the building was fixed and now it's being rebuilt. Sigh. Grateful for the relocation , would love more updates, support and transparency.

I been living here since 2014. Nice old place i have. My old shack! Only thing is! They haven't done anything to fix my toilet. Not all 1 toilet piece lol 3 different pieces 3 different toilets lol Mice live in the siding and cannot leave my balcony door open. The manager doesn't like us to fill maintenance forms he said buuut! Nothing gets done. HE ALWAYS FORGETS! HE'S ON HIS PHONE FROM THE TIME HE WALK IN UNTIL HE CLOCKS OUT! NO LIE!!!Good apartments; not good communication at all. 30 phones in the office and they decide to send letters! Nobody knows how to use their phone during the day in this office!Good luck!

I moved into subsidized housing, because my dependent children and I are a single parent family....we need resources....unfortunately, the staff treat their tenants as if we are the dog to kick when they are angry....maybe the organizations that are donating monies, need to know just how careless the management staff are? I noticed they are asking for donations on their website....but continually bully the tenants....the tenants are only trying to comply with all the stringent policies, and rules....the management have big heads, and they are narcissists. They are abusive, and over step authority.

I’m very sad about the lack of empathy and quality of service of your team. When I was applying to rent they were always fast answering the emails however after signing the agreement my problems begun:* Signed agreement received just after the legal time;* Storage received just after almost 15 days that I moved;* Serious problems with the elevator for more than a month without any explanation and not even answering the emails;* Bad customer service with the team, except Blair;* Bad cleaning on the building. It was never cleaned outside windows.If they are administrating run away.

This place is horrible, leaders need to be more indigenous as its indigenous, the current leader needs to be investigated for indigenous identity fraud as she claims to be...Someone needs to open up another organization, promotion indigenous inclusion! This place doesn’t have that they hire white people as their executive! That would your stand right there if u did indigenous owned and controlled!! Métis shouldn’t be even given special status, they’re mixed, they are like everyone else, how this leader acts so white! They shouldnt be no special status
