I placed an order with Birchwood, Land rover in Winnipeg, due to the extremely poor customer service I refused to continue doing business with them. I asked Land Rover Canada to transfer my order to another store and they said that’s not something they can do. It was painful and I had to get a manager involved . they said they will call the nearest Range Rover in saskatoon then that Range Rover store. That was also painful over multiple attempts. Once we broke contact LR SK asked me for a $20,000 retainer to sell me a car on top of the price of the cars msrp. All around disgusting snd crooks . What terrible customer service, id never buy from this brand and neither should you. People buying 200k vehicles should not be treated this way. 0 star award all around.

I have come to realize the more you pay for a car the worst the quality and service. This definitely covers my experience with Land Rover and the dealership Land Rover Metro West. I obtained my Range Rover from them and it's been downhill since then. Despite the fact that they were supposed to do a dealership described thorough pre-delivery inspection, multiple vehicle functions like the ambient lighting, third row seats, and vehicle air suspension did not function regularly and it took over 3 months of service bookings to get the issues resolved. After that the car worked ok for about 4-5 months until the various screens for navigation, radio, and climate would go blank while driving leaving no such functionality. You could also forget about using the voice commands as the phone and nav commands did not function. After some software re-programming and a couple more service visits functionality was restored temporarily. I am now back to the same issues again and I give up. The final straw for me was the supposed free first annual service. My service light came on in month 10. I called Metro West and they said it was time for my free first year service. They booked an appointment for me and I dropped the car off. It's really inconvenient for me to arrange service as I am busy with work. In this case when I came to pick up the car they said the service was not done as I was in advance of my 12 month in service date and that I should not have brought the car in. My service light was on and it was their dealership that said to bring in it for the first year service? That was the last time I went to Metro West and would never recommend their dealership to anyone under any circumstance. My story does not end there as any involvement with the Land Rover brand deserves a good kick in the head. I switched my service to Budds Oakville and ensured I booked my first year service after my 12 month in service date. Sounds logical? No so. When I took my Range Rover to Budds, they acknowledged that the first year service was free but that I did not qualify as I booked my appointed after the 12 month in service date. Unbelievable. I am done with Land Rover after only about 1 year of experience with the brand. If you have a lot of cash to waste on an overpriced and poor quality vehicle then Land Rover is the dance partner for you. All cars break down but my experience with Land Rover is unreal for a new car let alone that the brand does not provide supposed free service when the vehicle service light calls for service. I am going seek to transfer my lease and move to a better brand. Hope this review helps you to avoid both the Land Rover brand and Metro West.As a follow up, the service manager left me a voicemail and the owner responded to my google review to contact the dealership with both referring to further investigation. Not sure what they need to investigate as they have the service records to verify everything I commented on. Nonetheless I was willing to listen as mistakes happen. I quickly came to realize that the mistake was myself even bothering to try to contact the dealership. I called 5 times and left 2 voicemail messages to Domenic Carey, the service manager, who never picked up the phone call. There was no personal voicemail. It was an automated voicemail. Regardless, the dealership never called back. You can read other Google reviews on this dealership that they don't answer or return calls. Land Rover is a joke. The dealership Metro West is a joke. Their service department is a joke. Unfortunately it's not a laughing matter for the customer. AVOID LAND ROVER! AVOID METRO WEST!

Do yourself a favour. Do not under any circumstances buy a JLR vehicle.Disregard all the marketing hype.Versatility meets luxury". "Above and beyond". It is garbage. As is JLR product quality and service.Customer service is abysmal/non-existent from the top down. Product quality/reliability is poor. Repeated attempts to have an extended warranty claim honoured have been ignored.Save yourself a lot of frustration and inconvenience and buy something else. You deserve better.There are many better choices."

I would give ZERO stars if I could. This is one of the highest priced SUVs currently on the market. I own a brand new RR Sport and I can tell you it is an absolute piece of garbage. Nothing works, everything fails. Try reaching customer service, they will not call you back for months. Buy anything else, even a Hyundai or Kia make better vehicles

Everyone who is considering buy any car from landrover.. or Any vehicle that this company makes run don’t walk run their cars are garbage I’ve had my car for 15 months and my engine blew up they refused to help they talk to you like you’re a nothing they’re condescending they’re rude and they do not care about their customers after they have your money !!!! There review took exactly 2.4 minutes to say we will do nothing for you…I highly recommend that nobody purchases one of these vehicles a engine should not blow up at 100,000 km on a 90,000 car!!!!! This car and company are not Worthy of any decent hard-working individuals

i filed a complain about service on my car, Charles from land rover called me about my case, he didn't tell me anything other than service told me. why are you even existing over there? no resolution at all, if you get ripped by your dealer or service don't hope or call them for help. Try enjoy your car, and dumped to their door at the end of lease term.

I should have gone with the advice of every single person around me when choosing between my F-Type and a BMW M4. I chose the F-Type against their advice and now I am paying the price - be very careful with any Jaguar service and be relentless with them when it comes to ensuring they stand by their warranty and do a good job on your car. If that means having their work double checked by a private mechanic then so be it. From my very very extended experience - they really don’t care about their customers. You’ve been warned.

Its really too bad there's no option for zero stars, so 1-star will have to do. My parents have been stuck in the USA for FOUR WEEKS with a Broken Down engine on a vehicle that is too new for this to happen. They have been forced to buy a new engine but have received nothing but bad service from Land Rover Canada. How about standing behind your vehicles and helping people who are quite literally stranded. I hope whoever reads this thinks twice about buying a Land Rover. The total lack of service and kindness alone should scare you.
