I purchased several packages of bifteck de côté from Bœuf Québec on spécial but not past the best before date and every one of them was funky - not quite rotten but all clearly past their prime.

Really great place where you can get most foods, household items, clothing and all Joe Fresh articles, lots of choice.If you have extra time, before shopping, check the other supermarket prices on your devices and Maxi will accept all lower prices at register. You can save 30 to 60% on fresh meats, veggies, personal hygiene and lots more. Worth the timeTry to avoid busy times as the lines can be frustrating.Downtown store stays open til 10 pm.Pharmacy closed in 2019.

Great supermarket. Plan to go on the right time otherwise it can be very crowded. Good prices. Be aware of people taking the time to show cheaper prices of each product at other supermarket at the check out. So you can wait I long time to check out. I recommend to self check out.

Parking and access to the store is easy off of Portland (a road in desperate need of repair). Open and breezy store, a cross between Costco and Walmart. Prices for produce are reasonable. Organic produce is rarely discounted. My main beef with this store is the self checkout machines. They are first generation, old and unreliable. They tend to double scan! Check your bill before leaving. If you don't speak French, go to Costco. They know customer service.

Grocery prices are ridiculous and we can tell that the grocers don't care about their clients. The selection here might be good but it is a mess and you are better served in a Provigo (same owner).
