Ba Shu Szechuan Food

AVOID!This place is located in the food court of Crystal Mall. I should have known better than to eat here seeing that there were no customers and the food had no steam coming off of it. I ordered the 3 items on rice for $11.The rice grains was not the regular white rice but had a weird texture to it and was dry. I picked 3 items including pork ribs, beef, and a spicy chicken dish. Beef was super hard and tuggy like beef tendon that hasn't braised long enough. Flavour was ok but food was luke warm at best and did not taste fresh at all. It all tasted like it was cooked at least a day ago and just sitting there. I'm not even sure if the food warmer was turned on or not. The lady working there also doesn't speak good English so it's hard to ask her questions about the food or menu. The only thing that was hot was the free cup of tea.Would not come back here and would not recommend anyone come here. There's way more options in that food court to try.

Not fresh... don't think it's cooked daily. It has went bad oil smell... :(

Cheap, ready-made Szechuan food. Not the most fresh food, but it's decent and one of the faster options in the food court.Towards closing they put on a deal $8 for 3 items and rice.

I got their steamed chicken with chili sauce ($18) and rice ($3) and it was absolutely delicious! One of the best foods I've ever tried. The szechuan chili sauce was phenomenal. My only issue is how bony the chicken was but I suppose that's normal...

The family that owns the shop are such good people. I've seen their young daughter sweep the floor for them. Today, someone from the stall next to them asked to purchase chopsticks from them, and the dad gave it to her and said no need to pay. Their kind gesture to a competitor prompted me to write this.Their food is home style Sichuan food. I've had the spicy chicken and it's VERY spicy. Tastes pretty authentic! Also they're very generous with portions.

Terrible service and awful food. I ordered a dish for dine-in, but also ordered food from another store. I asked for a container as it was too much, the owner started yelling “of course you were not able to finish your food, told you to order the combo from me!” “don’t ask me questions, I don’t know how to answer!”Food was not authentic at all, stale and unsanitary.

Cauliflower has gone sour and bad…when I complain they say it’s supposed to taste like that…..

Food are all turning bad, dry and sour and they are still selling! They refused to make me new dish but keep persuading me buying the left overs. So gross! Wasted time and risked getting sick! Stay away as much as you can!
