Motel Etchemin

Our room was clean, cozy, air conditioned, and we had free WiFi. The bed was a little too firm for me, but my partner was happy with it. She said the man at the front desk was friendly and professional.This is a good place to stay for a night if you're on a road trip. The lévis-quebec ferry is a short drive away, offering quick access to Québec City.

Room was clean and tidy. The kitchenette was a great addition. The air conditioning could be improved as with the unit at it's maximum the room was still humid and that with the kitchen and bathroom doors closed. The beds were very hard. Overall experience was good but small improvements would make the stay amazing.

Manager very rude, and was swearing. Not too friendly. Room no a/c , no fans, and no screen in window and manager didn't even offered a fan, it was 25 outside at night. Room not too clean , smelled musty, TV was 19 antique

Nice Place. Nice owner. Room was clean with a fridge and microwave and quiet. Perfect stop for work trip. Thanks.Wireless bit weak but ok for web pages. Not great if you need to stream anything.

Great for the price. Small room but has everything you would need for a short stay. I had a good experience.

I stayed on New Year Eve while travelling through. The room was very small but clean and comfy. I slept for 10 hours. The motel is pet friendly which was a plus for me since I was travelling with my dog. Booking was easy and the service was excellent. I am hoping to return to this hotel in the summer.

When we arrived at night the card reader was not working so we were forced to use cash. Due to the fact that it was late we had no time to convert our us dollars to canadian dollars. The lady made us pay the full amount in US dollars with no regard to conversion. We had also insisted that we paid through the website already but she said that isn’t true. So instead of paying $123 we were forced to pay 157 us dollars. On top of this they did double charge us because we had paid through the website. Since we didn’t use our card for when we were charged that night, we did not have a good paper trail to dispute. So we paid this motel $300 for a room worth $35.

Easy access from Trans Canada and very close to some great views and unique neighbourhoods.Our room (113) had some updates but is still pretty dated and not everything seems squeaky clean like you would hope in a place that costs $180 for one night.It is pet friendly and that helps to look past some of the less attractive aspects.When driving between PEI and Southern Ontario it is halfway so it has that going for it.

The staff were super nice. That said, they should have advised us of the burning inferno of a double bed room we received. A room without AC should at least be spacious with a ceiling fan. We would have been better to sleep at a halte in the car. I hope they try to improve their rooms. The exterior and the pool is very impressive but it stops there. So disappointed.
