Whirlpool delivery driver was the subject of a police report. They drove the wrong way in reverse recklessly down the road after getting mad, saying that their dispatcher didn’t tell them that the laundry machines were being installed on pedestals.Order was finally delivered by a different crew at a later date.To make matters worse, Whirlpool is so incompetent that they tried to deliver a second washer and dryer after I had already had mine delivered. I assumed this was their attempt at compensation. Nope. Just incompetence. After numerous followups they have provided no compensation for the delivery driver’s behaviour.Just a horrible company that doesn’t care about customer service or customer safety. You can trust their current 1.4 star rating. It’s very very accurate.

The worst customer experience I've ever seen. I have a service request that has been open for over 6 months to replace a damaged door on my new KitchenAid dishwasher. every time I call I spend 20 min. just trying to navigate through their convoluted menu to reach someone to speak to, and every time they put me on hold for 15-20 min then come back to tell me the same thing a technician will call you back and give you an update" no one ever called. Talked to one of the managers and same thing "we will call you back". 6 months and they couldn't complete a simple service. I don't understand why other brands are using them for customer services.Hello Eric

Whirlpool sells the absolute worst appliances. We bought a brand new fridge in July of 2021. By the time December hit, the fan stopped working and we lost everything in both the fridge and freezer. Fast forward to one year later in December of 2022: the fridge is again out of service. This time, frost has built up on the inside of the fridge and stopped it from cooling. Again, hundreds of dollars of food wasted. And the solution provided by Whirlpool? Unplug the fridge for 8-12 hours to let everything melt, and have a thermostat installed. And the best part? The cooling issue will repeat itself in about 8 months, so we'll either have to keep unplugging the fridge to melt all the frost or continue to have the technicians visit every time it happens and we can't get it resolved. Luckily we purchased our fridge from Costco so it's still in warranty, but what happens when we have the issue again in 8 months? Will we have to pay to get the fridge fixed every year for the rest of its life? It's absolutely unacceptable to have so many issues from a fairly new fridge, and if we could afford to, we'd toss this piece of junk in the trash and upgrade to a company that takes pride in making quality appliances. I do not recommend purchasing anything from Whirlpool.

I can't express my frustration with our brand new fridge! It was purchased at Canadian Appliance Source but we have been told by them that we need to take up any problems with Whirlpool directly. This is easier said than done. The freezer temperature when it first arrived was just barely freezing, but not well enough to keep ice cream solid. A serviceman came, said the compressor was faulty, and would need to be replaced. It was backordered and took more than a month to arrive. Finally got it installed a couple of weeks ago, but it is still not maintaining at anywhere near the recommended 0 Fahrenheit and fluctuates wildly in temperature. Another serviceman came out yesterday and he thinks its some kind of circuit board that is at fault. Guess what? That's backordered too. We took delivery of this fridge on Sept. 21 and it has yet to work properly. They keep asking if we purchased the extended warranty. Surely we don't need an extended warranty to get a brand new fridge working! When I asked for the name of a more senior person whom I could email to explain the problems, I was told they couldn't give me an email, but that I could send a letter! I did that on October 4 and have yet to hear back. One rep that I spoke to offered me a $150 rebate, which is nice, but it doesn't solve the problem. Surely there comes a time where it should just be replaced? At one point I was told that if the compressor didn't come by the end of October they would replace it. When that date went by, I called and was told the parts were arriving and it would take longer to get a new fridge. All in all, very distressing, do not recommend Whirlpool!

This one star is only because Google makes you give something so I’m going to give the star to the woman they have answering the phone with the cheeriest of voices to make you think that they actually care about their customers, (spoiler alert: THEY DON’T).They missed my delivery for a washer and dryer which I had purposely scheduled before a holiday, had the old machines uninstalled and moved out then had to reinstall them to reschedule the delivery. When I called about the missed delivery on Saturday they had zero information to give me about where my appliances were and told me no one was available until the following Monday and said “let’s just hope they’re on the truck”. Awesome. They called me at 6:40am on the Monday and just hung up on me (probably because they realized it was far too early to call a customer). Then the email threads began… The ‘Customer Service’ rep has completely ignored every request to have my case escalated to a Supervisor then she phoned me to threaten me with a fee if I could not accept my delivery at THEIR convenience because I was on holiday, hence the reason for the original delivery date I scheduled that they didn’t show up for.I’ve phoned several times to speak with a Supervisor but they are conveniently never available and they DO NOT CARE to respond and clearly DO NOT CARE about customer service at all. The delivery drivers also must hate their jobs too as they were incredibly miserable and rude when they arrived. We noticed scratches on the dryer after they left but I wasn’t about to refuse the delivery after everything we went through already. They’ve now refunded us $100 and continue to completely ignore every issue I’ve raised with our experience. This will be the last Maytag experience we will put ourselves through. The low rating here is VERY accurate.

Absolutely horrible experience with the customer service- I recently purchased a brand new Mytag dryer and washer from Dufresne. The retailer advised me to reachout to Whirlpool to collect free laundry detergent. I submitted the request with the Dufresne sales invoice, but they refused to accept the invoicePlease see their reply below.Hello Salomi,Thank you for your email. After additional review of your invoice, we can confirm that the only date present on the document is Document Date".Regrettably

4 year old fridge dies. Service fellow says its the controller as with many of the same fridges. Says to call Whirlpool and see what they can do. Called, they will do nothing. No funds off, no free service call nothing. Don't buy a whirlpool fridge they don't stand behind their product even though there is a faulty part. Very poor

Such a pathetic customer service experience with Whirlpool Canada.I purchased a brand-new Jenn Air Dishwasher through an authorized retailer. Paid approx. $2500+tax for this product with bundle of other Jenn Air appliances. It was delivered last week on Thursday, Jun 1st, and I got it installed through technicians the very next day and then found that Dishwasher not working.I scheduled Whirlpool technician visit for inspection and when the technician arrived on Tuesday, June 06, after a detailed diagnosis he found the product was faulty and the motor does not work.Technician helped in reaching to their higher ups and somehow got an approval from Whirlpool Product Exchange team. After waiting for 4 days and no updates from delivery team for exchange, I called to find the updates and was shocked when found that next delivery can only happen on Saturday Jun 17th because delivery team only delivers in our area on Tuesday and Saturday.Such a painful experience!!!!Washing dishes for over 2 weeks even after paying over $2500 for Jenn Air dishwasher... Terrible experience with Whirlpool Canada customer service team.

Absurd customer service. New refrigerator under warranty. Failed!!!! Unwilling to replace or repair in a timely fashion. Parts delays. They aren't providing any ETA. If I had an option would have never bought whirlpool products. Lots of complaints online as well as with BBB. Utter garbage customer service to match garbage products. The one star is only because can't provide in negative.
