Thank you Audie.Such a pleasant experience to purchase my new Precision Bass.- Well organized and inviting store.-Instruments easy to inspect, and try out. (even if I didn't need to plug it in :) )It's always nice to interact with a musician, and as a bonus, a person that I listened to for years from radio. (Queen - Radio GA GA comes to mind. )Thanks again. (even the wife is impressed with the new guitar. )

I have made Maria at St. John's my go-to for brass repair. Year after year, I come back with some new problem on my euphonium and she always gets to the bottom of it. I've honestly learned so much simply from her explanations of issues after I pick up my horn and I learn a new way to keep my instrument in working order. She is gentle with the instruments, goes above and beyond with repairs and solutions to unique problems, and is overall a lovely person to talk to and discuss instruments with. It is clear she cares about detail as well as long-term instrument health. Will always return here :)

An easy and for sure 5/5. 1-Speed of service 2- Cost of service (since when do you walk out of anywhere paying less then 20$!? Love that!) 3- High quality and interesting instruments on offer with some good deals 4+5 Customer service. Very knowledgeable and helpful- but also didn’t mind explaining instruments to my 3 yr old. That’s a special thing right there. ❤️

I bought a wonderful high end digital piano from them in December. Service was great, they were willing to order a new piano for me, and when I changed my mind and bought the floor model of a different piano, they were happy to cancel the order without any fuss. They gave me a great deal on a floor model and it was in excellent condition - they clearly take great care of the instruments in the store. They had a wide selection of brands and models for digital pianos, from entry level to top end. Furthermore, they helped move the VERY heavy instrument into my car, again taking great care to not damage it. Overall I had a very good expirience and was very happy with the purchase.

I was referred here for instrument rental by another music store. The rental as financing option is a great way to try an instrument without buying it. And they have used instruments. I highly recommend it, especially for kids who might change their minds every few weeks.

Had my son's P-Bass repaired yesterday, Jason the technician that repaired the guitar was top notch" and very accommodating. He offered good advice and a quicker than estimated turn-around at a reasonable cost. My expectations were exceeded! The personal touches and "how can we help you" made me feel like this was a relationship and not just a transaction. I have only bought accessories at St.Johns in the past

We had a very lovely customer service experience today. It was my daughters birthday and shana cut a happy birthday paper and punched a free pick for her. We talked with the repair man about bringing her guitar in for repair and strings in a couple weeks and bought some new picks

Rented an instrument through here and was promised they would pick it up in our city at the end of the year...COVID happened which I understand things then have to change but they did not offer any cheaper shipping options to get the instrument to them. Should have just rented locally now I get to keep paying for an instrument my son isn’t using until they get it back which I have to ship at my cost. Salesmen that initially spoke with me was not overly friendly before asking if I wanted to speak with the manager. And my name isn’t even Karen!Bottom line if you can rent an instrument local to your town/city. I would choose that option.

Wonderful store with very pleasant staff. I was immediately greeted and shown to the area of the store I was most interested in. After I left I went to Long & McQuaid and after being ignored there, I came back to St. Johns. Shauna was very helpful and we had a great discussion about guitars, ukeleles, banjos, and the like, and while they didn't have some of what I was looking for, they would have ordered them in for me, and if I lived in the area I would have taken them up on it. Bought one thing there, and will remember this store next time I'm in Edmonton.
