Richmond In-Store Medical Clinic

As a new resident to Richmond , I have had a hard time finding a suitable family doctor. I met with Dr Abbas who has been extremely accommodating and sympathetic to my condition I would recommend her to anyone seeking a Physician !The medical clinic itself is in a great location, inside the Superstore so very convenient . I only gave this 4 stars because I believe the front desk staff is incompetent. As a nurse myself , I find the complete lack of regard for patient care astounding ! Every single time I have had an appointment ( which is quite frequently ) I have encountered an issue with reception. The management is poor , the fees are simply absurd ! This is definitely a cash grab , honestly I wish Dr. Abbas saw patients elsewhere , I would never return to this clinic . I have since resorted to tele-appointments to avoid interacting with said staff , however to no avail. They do not answer telephones, the only method of communication is email - to which they rarely reply . On numerous occasions I have requested for Winnie to provide her immediate superiors contact to report poor performance but as usual , I have yet to receive a response .Honestly , I am not sure how this clinic is able to to continue to operate but will be reporting the shortcomings to the proper channels in hopes that corrections are made.

Dr. Abbas H is my family doctor since I relocated to BC. She is the worst doctor that I met in my life! Every time I see her, she stands 2 meters apart from me and never gives me any medical examination like pulse or temperature taking. Once I visited her because of my nerves pain, without any examination , she told me MUST go to the Emergency Clinic ! I were very confused but with her emphasis I went. To make a long story short, I finally got exam and MRI by Doctor in the Richmond Hospital. In the whole process, the conclusion by the Emgency doctor is : Your Family Doctor didn't do her job ! You better change to another Family Doctor.Another incident : when another specialist Doctor finds out that I have serious medical issues need follow up , she makes an in-person appointment with me and discuss the treatment in details. However , my Dr. Abbas only gets her clinic staff to call me and tell me to make a phone consultation". I told the specialist doctor about Dr. Abbas arrangements

Dr. Abbas is really helpful and compassionate physician. She is one of the most knowledgeable physicians.

I am a patient of Dr. Abbas and she is the best family physician I have ever had. Some of my health conditions are quite complicated, but she always knows how to find the best solution. Her medical knowledge and her people-skills are beyond excellent. The clinic staff are very polite, friendly and efficient, and the clinic itself is clean and comfortable. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Abbas and the Richmond In-Store Medical Clinic.

Dr. Abbas is very knowledgeable. She explains everything thoroughly. She explains the diagnosis, investigations, and the treatment plan in an easy informative way. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Abbas is very accommodating and explains everything very well. Always calls on time or even earlier, listens and addresses every concern we have.

Dr. Abbas is the worst doctor ever I met. She is cold and unprofessional.

I had a small surgery done by Dr. Kathy Lee. She is very kind, accommodating and personable. I was extremely nervous going into the procedure and even during, but she talked me though it and was very patient and kind while I worked through my nervousness. Would definitely recommend her as a doctor. Thank you Dr. Lee!

Dr. Abbas is a compassionate, professional and good listener. I am willing that she will be my family physician in the future.

Dr. Hind Abbas is very professional. She has immense patience and a great positive spirit. Although I was experiencing alot of pain she kept encouraging me to look at the positive side. I'm delighted to have switched to Dr. Abbas because I have experienced a lot of misstatements with my previous family doctor and after interacting with Dr. Abbas I'm very happy with her.
