FIX AUTO BARRIE NORTH

Right from the start of the repair for my truck I have had a terrible experience. First I was told parts weren’t available and that they would check back weekly with me. They never called once. I called two months later and miraculously parts were available as early as that day. Then getting a truck rental was very difficult. Was told they couldn’t get me a truck with a tow package (which I needed and my truck had), and that they were waiting for approval from my insurance. No one checked back in with me and I had to email for answers and apparently they hadn’t heard back from my insurance agent. I guess they do not know how to use a phone so I made a call , spoke to my agent and again miraculously they approved me the next day. Then they couldn’t give me a hard date of when they would have the rental. They canceled last minute on my original date. Then the repair took longer then they told me it would due to parts shortage at linex. Again I guess they do not check into all the parts needed for the repair. This was for the bed liner and I could of potentially been left on the hook for the extended rental time since the actual repair was done.They couldn’t give me any type of estimate of when they would have the parts and actually wanted me to return the rental and take my truck without a bed liner or with a temporary different liner. I refused and some now my truck was ready two days later. Very unorganized business the way it is ran. Lots of blame out on insurance and other companies involved in the repair (linex, paint etc) I would think since they are the company being paid for the repair they would look into the whole job. When I went to pick it up it was not even compete they didn’t install the decals so I had to sit and wait for that as well. Also on more then one occasion I was told I would get a call back that day or email and then I received nothing and had to follow up the next day. Very frustrating experience would never come back or recommend for any thing.

Would never ever come back. I went in for warranty job from my dealership. They replaced the door and painted it with so much pint that you can see the drip marks at the bottom of door. Took it back in to get that fixed. And only did half of job. So I left the car there so they could fix it. When I went to pick it up. I was so disgusted I just took my car and taking somewhere else. There is paint all over my trim, I have tape that I can't take off, paint on my windows just a mess and still over spray. Oh and the best part is the girls at the front desk wouldn't give me the keys to take a look before signing the paperwork saying it was done. I see why now. Because they wouldn't of ever been paid.

Fix Auto did a great job fixing my Mazda, easy to deal with and kept up with updates. Also appreciate the great clean they did when finished.

Great folks, realistic and reasonable prices and quality work. Hope I don’t need them again but would definitely go there if I needed and recommend Fix Auto Barrie any unfortunate body work you may need.Thanks folks!

Travelling from BC our Van got rear ended damaging the rear door hinges making the door unopenable! ICBC suggested Fix Auto so we went in today to see about repairs. Kim the owner was very helpful and although being swamped with work, got one of the repair technicians to look at the door. We’ll call him Thor for with a couple of whacks from his mighty hammer he straightened the hinges sufficiently to open the rear doors. Repairs will come when there is an opening, Til then we can use our van fully and our travels can continue. We are so grateful and with an an encouraging smile, a hand shake they wished us well on our journey! We definitely recommend Fix Auto in Barrie, good people!

I don’t even know where to begin.They did a FABULOUS job on my rear bumper on my red civic! I was so anxious because I have had bad results in the past with a different car, leaving my car with two tone!!But no, they killed it!Definitely recommend them ! The lady's that work at the front are amazing I have never been in a place where they are so friendly and treat you like your family so is the lady in the office and the gentleman that has an office down the hall

I Recieved great service here. My insurance recommended them. When my car was in they provided daily updates. Kim,Brenda and their team answered all my questions provided excellent service and even gave a laugh or two. I Highly recommend them!
