We stopped at Rotary Park on our way through town. We had started our day in Nelson and we're making our way to Edmonton. My 2 year old needed a break so we found this gem of a park. My son is obsessed with trains and loved the train he could play on. There was 2-3 ft of snow on the ground so swings and slides did not have much play potential. It tired out my son so it did its job. Will definitely be stopping by again. Public bathroom on sight but closed (due to covid and 3 ft of snow).

Good looking park. Kids love the adaptive seat swing. Washroom was closed in April which is a bummer.

Great little park in the middle of Fernie. Swing sets, a few large play structure, vintage mini mining train that the kids love to climb. Washrooms and drinking fountain with a (dog) watering tap. Gazebo structure and a small parking lot. Our 2 and 4 year old were entertained for over an hour after a day of driving.

A decent park with public washrooms. Lots of parking and plenty of room for kids to run around and play. Not a dog friendly park, No Dogs signs are posted around the park. The playground equipment is starting to get pretty run down, some areas are almost getting unsafe. The old train is fun for older kids to climb around on.

Such a great park that had an amazing mountain view and an old train to play on. Clean bathrooms with soap and park equipment to accommodate handicapped children.

Missing shades when too hot. Equipment is well maintained and the the old train gives a nice touch.

Great park, a lot of free for shade from the sun of needed and you sets for the childrens.
