It is true that the selection of frames is excellent. Pricing however is not. I could live with that. The problem that I have, and the reason I would never consider going back (and I hope you do not go there either) Is that the staff is terrible. What I mean is that they are consistently rude and condescending. Today I asked one of the staff in a cheerful voice, how are you?" Her response was "what can I do for you" in a tone that suggested I was in some way inconveniencing her. I bought glasses there over a six year period. I went back because of the frame selection. I am tired of it. If it were isolated

I love the doctors at the Spectrum and the only reason I don't leave. The opticians however are largely rude, argumentative, and always need to prove a point. It has been years and I have been reluctant to post anything, but I am at the end of my rope. Our next specs (family of 4 with complicated and expensive requirements) will be bought elsewhere.

I would not normally resort to leaving a review in order to deal with a situation but the office leaves me no choice. Having never had glasses in my life, I was prescribed progressive lenses. I have reading +1 and, apparently, very minor office screen distance adjustment and very minor long-distance correction. How was I supposed to know that I didn't need $1000 glasses?!?!!I do not have astigmatism, just age-related presbyopia. After spending over $1000, I find out that none of these glasses work any better than dollar store +1 reading glasses. I called to talk to Dr. Friskie and was not permitted to speak to him until talking to the optician. She advised it may take time for my eyes to adjust. It's been a few months, and I still have issues and am still not allowed to talk to the Dr. unless I make another appointment which I have to pay for.I am super disappointed that my vision correction is extremely minor and that no optician advised that I may only require dollar-store glasses. Each optician I visited was happy to take my prescription and fill it for large amounts of money.I am seriously regretting spending the money on a prescription I didn't need. I would always recommend seeing a doctor to ensure that nothing more serious is happening; however, if you have minor vision issues, get advice before spending hundreds of dollars.

Very pleasant experience at the Spectrum Eye Center with Dr. Stevens and the optical centre attached. No hard sells, you browse on your own time, and if you make a frame selection, (I think it was Tamara who served me),went through the entire lense range and which would best serve my needs. I wore glasses for half my life before laser eye surgery, and this was my best eye wear shopping experience now when I need to transition to a light prescription.

Had such a great experience took my son for a check up the staff were so kind and friendly. When we reviewed the photos and everything the optometrist was very detailed, but still made us feel comfortable. She actually cared about what my son was saying/asking, she would ask him more questions we did not feel rushed. She also took the time to explain everything to my son in a way he would understand. Absolutely recommend!!

The girl on the phone isnt friendly at all, not sounding very accomodating, theres so many better customer service rep out there!!! but my doctor over there is amazing

Lovely place, I highly recommend to any family looking for a reliable place to find glasses. Staff is very friendly and I have never had a bad experience here before.

I went for the first time today to see Dr. Stevens. Upon entry the lady at the front desk was very polite, she was also excellent to deal with over the phone when booking my appointment. I was apprehensive to book due to the older negative reviews, but it seems those reviews are dated, and the current staff is polite and courteous. I didn’t need the glasses area, but I could hear a staff member helping a man and she too sounded polite. Dr. Stevens was excellent to deal with, I would recommend her. My husband went to see Dr. Friskie a while back and he had only positive things to say.

No issues ever with the Optometrist. It’s the front desk and the people that are supposed to help you look for lenses I have issues with. Helpful they are not. I always have the feeling that they don’t care to get my business yet I’ve been going there since they opened. I’m loyal but they are not!!! My loyalty needs to be redirected. BTW I was put in front of a small desk mirror along with about 8 frames to try on. I didn’t get to pick them, the lady did. I told her I didn’t like any and asked for more. She said that’s all they had in the styles I mentioned. Gee whiz. Not sure about you but we all change our minds when trying on new things. I have to wear these frames for two years so I’m gonna make sure I get what I came for. I left and went to another shop where I was presented with two large empty trays to select any glasses I wanted and a big full mirror to try them on at. True assistance from start to finish.
