What an awful salon!!!!! The owner is horrendous! The staff are also unprofessional and rude. Overpriced for what you get.

Great big shout out to Iman at Coiffure studio 2000 for her kind heart and amazing service today. Took me as a last minute walk in and when I had a family emergency (1/2 way through my cut), she told me to go. I managed to get back before they closed to pay for my hair and she actually told me she would finish it! Iman went above and beyond. She stayed after hours even after a long day... And did a beautiful job. Thank you Iman!

Really awesome service and they know their stuff! I haven't been disappointed in their haircuts at all, and always go above and beyond what I asked for. I've never been so pleased with a hair salon ever!

I had a haircut a month ago with Flore. She cut it too short and it still looks terrible. I was told she had experience with short hair. I will not return to them point- blank, period.

I'm on the fence about if I would return to this salon and to the hairstylist. In the past, I have moved around a bit but now that I'm a Kirkland resident, I am searching for a regular salon for haircuts. I either looked up a salon nearby or booked an appointment at a salon when I go out of province to visit family. I usually give simple instructions and leave it in the hands of hairstylists because I never do anything fancy and it usually works out great. At Coiffure Studio 2000, Iman was the stylist who cut my hair. I would say my haircut was okay but I wouldn't say fantastic. She did not look me straight on to make sure my hair length on both sides was even (all previous hairstylists have done this) and she was a bit messy when it came to sectioning while cutting the layers (all previous hairstylists have been better about sectioning and combing before snipping). I was a bit worried but I just told myself to trust the process because hairstylists are professionals. When I left the salon, my hair looked fantastic. She curled it a bit and I really thought I got a great cut. However, with a couple of days now doing my hair myself, one side has longer pieces than the other (not something you can notice when you leave the salon with curled hair). Because of the uneven cut, I am not sure I would return to Iman to cut my hair again. As a bit of an aside, I did appreciate that I could sit mostly in silence while the hairstylist cut my hair. She spoke with the woman at the front desk which was totally fine but I'm not very good at small talk so I appreciated that I didn't have to talk much. Finally, the woman at the front desk was very friendly and I liked that there was a tip option when paying. I haven been to many salons that don't have tip options on their debit/credit machines.
