My family and I have been seeing both Dr. Birka and Irina regularly for many years and have consistently received exceptional care. They have supported us through a number of sport related injuries as well as general health & wellness concerns. They are knowledgeable, highly skilled and take the time to explain what they are doing. Through their adjustments & rehab exercises, I have improved my posture so significantly that I am standing 1.5cm taller at 58 than I have previously in my adult life :) I would highly recommend both Dr. Birka & Irena to anyone looking for a chiro or RMT.

Dr Birka is an excellent chiropractor . He has certainly helped me with my hip an shoulder pain. He explains everything and has taught me stretches to do daily to help me have a better quality life without pain. I will certainly continue to visit his clinic.

Dr. Birka is one of the best chiropractors in the city among the two dozens of chiropractors that I've received treatments from. As if that's not enough, he is also highly knowledgeable and experienced in many other forms of manual treatments and tries to solve your problems in a very holistic way. If you have muscle problems, then he is your go to person as well, since not many therapists will put the effort into what needs to be done. A high energy person with great listening skills. If you want to stop suffering pain, you know where to go.

My wife and I would recommend Dr. Kowal to anyone and everyone! He's helped me treat a past injury and I've finally started to feel some long-term sustainable results. He also helped my wife with exercises and treatment before and after she had our daughter. His guidance allowed her to have a much smoother pregnancy and she felt great overall for the course of the 9 months and for post-natal recovery.Dr. Kowal is warm, friendly, professional, attentive, and conscientious. Dr. Birka has been a blessing to me in helping me to reverse years of chronic pain, loss of range of motion and strength. Dr. Birka takes oodles of time to answer the plethora of questions I always had regarding my treatment and about how much I was going to recuperate. He is extremely patient, extremely knowledgeable and a dedicated professional; his goals are to help you to recover and move on rather than keep you as a patient. He goes beyond the call of duty to help you to improve. Office staff, too, is always friendly and helpful. I have improved tremendously by reversing my condition! BEST THING I EVER DID WAS SEE DR. BIRKA. I received a recommendation to see Dr. Birka for some neck pain that wasn't going away after weeks of massage therapy. I was very skeptical about seeing a chiropractor, but having seen Dr. Birka, even after the first time, my neck pain was immediately reduced, and I felt so much better. Dr. Birka explained everything he was doing and the purpose for it. I appreciated this very much, as I was nervous about adjustments and the pops" and "cracks" my body was making. Once I understood what was being done and why

I had a great first experience at align health and wellness. I have never been to a chiropractor before and Dr. Kowal explained the whole process to me. I was quite nervous at the start but Dr. Kowal with his professionalism and caring approach made me more comfortable. He talked me through everything he was doing and explained it in plain English. He helped me with my neck pain and headaches which are not a daily struggle for me anymore. Definitely 5 stars :)

I consider myself very fortunate to have found such an excellent chiropractor. Dr. Birka is an exemplary clinician. He excels at both diagnosis and treatment. He has treated me for sporadic back and neck problems over the years and, more recently, has worked with me throughout a painful injury and the very lengthy subsequent recuperative period.He is extremely knowledgeable and is able to help me understand what symptoms represent so that a treatment plan can be developed and I can participate with exercises and/or stretches as necessary. I've been to see Dr. Birka twice now, after separating my shoulder and a car accident. For both incidents, I only saw Dr. Birka for a couple of months before all symptoms went away and stayed away. I highly recommend Dr. Birka and his staff for addressing injuries thoroughly.
