Danielle is amazing. Her knowledge, patience and demonstration has helped tremendously for not only the original task at hand but other aspects of day to day life training with my mastiff. My dog just loves her and she’s taught me so much to keep implanting good behavior by my Duchess-girl.I recommend Danielle to anyone that has any concerns with their pups.

My partner and I adopted a dog at the start of lockdown this year from a Texas shelter, and despite being just 15 pounds and only a year old she came with almost every problem you could have imagined. She was incredibly fearful of everything, she had serious separation issues (she would howl EVERY time I was out of her sight), she had zero obedience training, and most concerningly, she had extreme anxiety around other dogs that was manifesting as aggression. Her issues were consuming our waking life and we were seriously at our wit's end when we contacted Danielle in April.In the 6 months since starting training, our dog Piper has done an almost complete turnaround. I'd say she's 90-95% improved on all fronts (still not quite 100% but getting closer every day!), and I think we owe the vast majority of that to Colonial & Danielle. We can now take her on long walks & hikes, we can sit with her at a brewery while other dogs walk by, we've even made a few trips to the dog park and she's made dog friends of many sizes. And while we now trust her to be friendly and behaved wherever we take her, we also have the tools we need to fix any new issues we come across. My dog was a rescue from a puppy mill and we got her when she was scared of her own shadow…quite literally. Figi didn’t like being outside because of the people and noises. Even leaves on the ground would scare her. Max and Lauren came to our rescue! They were flexible with scheduling and really dedicated to our little one. They walked us through every training exercise with her and gave us every resource we needed to be successful. Figi fully transformed. She is now the most energetic and loving puppy. She is excited to meet new people and waits at the door to go outside. She gained so much confidence and we couldn’t be happier. Max and Lauren really went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank them enough.

Hiring Danielle from Colonial Dog Training is the best desicion we could have made for our family. She provided us with the knowledge we needed to get our crazy dogs under control. Before her first visit I was seriously wondering how I was going to keep my sanity dealing with our newest pup. She is very dominant and I was concerned for the safety of my children and other 2 dogs. Danielle was on time for every meeting and always professional. Our dog had a bad first 5 months of his life & although he could be sweet, he could be mean & destructive. Without Buffalo Niagara Dog Training, Max & Lauren, I don’t know what we would’ve done! We are so grateful for the time, patience, & love they showed Stanley & helped him to become the sweet, lovable boy we knew he was. We have a beautiful three-year-old dog who literally lost his mind every day the mailman came – destroying curtains and window mullions. He also suffered separation anxiety and possessiveness issues that resulted in growling and biting incidents within the household. We then learned about the work Max Collignon and Lauren George were doing with Buffalo Niagara Dog Training. We met with them and set up an in-home program to try and help Tiger live his best life. They were amazing! Max and Lauren, so kind and patient, walked us through the entire process. They were so knowledgeable about how to deal with any issue. In addition to the at-home visits, there were frequent check-ins, and follow-up instructions to help both us and Tiger meet our goals. With the help of Buffalo Niagara Dog Training Tiger is finally nearing perfection!

Max and Lauren helped us so much with our dogs! Between moving and one of our dogs needing surgery on her knees, we saw an escalation of bad behaviors like resource guarding and reactivity. We've done classes in the past but the things taught in class didn't translate to the issues we were having at home.Max and Lauren came to us and listened to our concerns. They came up with a plan specific to our needs and lifestyle and helped us regain confidence and structure in our home. Going into our training sessions with an open mind and willingness to try new things made a world of a difference. They are so knowledgeable and helped us understand the what and why behind the strategies.We have seen a significant decrease in fighting between our dogs, we feel more comfortable having people at our house, going on walks are much more enjoyable, most importantly - our dogs are safe and less stressed. We can't recommend Max and Lauren enough.

I worked with Max and Lauren with my TWO dogs, a hound and a pitbull mix, who had developed aggression issues towards each other. These two trainers were wonderful and ready to help me even when most other trainers told me that it would not be possible or that I couldn’t return to a normal way of living. They helped train both dogs and tailored my training and needs for both of my dogs, as one is extremely shy and came from a bad background, and the other is very outspoken and stubborn.They were completely affordable and went above and beyond to help me even after the set number of lessons that I had paid for. They were always available to answer any questions I had with a response back very quickly. They recommended products to help with managing some of the issues such as harnesses and muzzles, their product recommendations did wonders and were much needed in the training world where there’s everything from A to Z. They answered any questions I or my partner had in training them and were completely understanding when it came to what we the humans were doing wrong too and they also helped shape our behavior to ensure the dogs success in training. I could absolutely not recommend these guys enough and would come back to them with any of my future dogs or future training needs!

I highly recommend Colonial Dog Training. I was hesitant to spend the money because my dog is already pretty well behaved but he was starting to exhibit occasional leash aggression and I didn’t want to allow it to escalate (especially considering he’s a certified therapy dog!) After a few months with Danielle, not only does his leash growling seem to be gone but he is overall much better behaved. He now has a perfect heel, is much better around distractions, and listens to me much better than he ever did before. Danielle was flexible around my hectic schedule and even started doing group session to make sure my dog and the others who needed help in group settings could get the opportunity to be shown proper behavior. The ongoing support of knowing I can always text her if I have a question or schedule another session if he should have any issues from here on is very reassuring. Thanks, Danielle!
