I rushed down and gro there at 3:52pm and gate was being closed. Staff shut down early, and lied about the time as well as recommended Laurie’s since they close at 5pm. I informed them that it’s 4. I hope the 3 staff enjoyed going home early and their smoke. If the owners care, please change your operating ours to 3:50pm daily. It’s unethical and a disservice to your community to not operate your posted business hours.Dec 8th - 7:28pmThank you to the owner for addressing my review and I appreciate the apology.

Garbage transfer station with a twist. There is a garbage area that you can leave your usable items at (once you paid to dispose of them) and items you buy there are by donations and the donations are given away each year as scholarships at the local high school. Some good finds there and using things from there keeps them out of the landfill. It's Salt Spring Garbage Services but the locals all call it the 'Blackburn Mall'
