Last fall I started looking into replacing an old woodburning fireplace from the 1960s with a gas insert. I didn't really know where to start and began researching online, contacting local contractors and retailers. I came across Scott and Western Heat and Gas Fitting by chance on Kijiji. He responded quickly and was able to answer all the questions and concerns I had within one phone call. We met in person to discuss product options and installation requirement and he was able to schedule an install within a couple weeks around my tight schedule. Extremely competitive pricing, professional work and great service. I would recommend Western Heat and Gas Fitting to anyone.

BBQ gas line installed by Scott to patio. Clean line run off main furnace gas feed to patio. Fair pricing. Knowledgeable and responsive. Checked for gas leaks and confirmed gas flows to BBQ. Very satisfied would recommend to anyone looking!

It was great dealing with Scott and Western Gas. In a time where everyone was telling me supply chain issues would delay their ability to deliver, Western Gas was able to book me a week out. It was really nice that Western Gas was able to provide the fire box, controls, and installation as an easy process with lots of options. The price was competitive (much better actually as there was no gouging like I was getting from other shops) and the work was excellent.Note that I built the enclosure and had the exterior finishing done by another contractor.

I purchased the Heat and Glo Supreme I30IFT gas insert in Sept 2022. Pricing was competitive, & installation occurred within days of purchase (at my convenience & without any residual untidiness). Inspection was arranged by Western Heating & Gas and occurred in a timely fashion. Scott was friendly, informative, and communication with him was easy.The fireplace is beautiful! It keeps my home warm during the cold winter months. The remote is easy to use. I have enjoyed the fireplace more than I had expected.
