Captain Dave's Boat Tours
Captain Dave gave an up close and personal tour of the iceberg at Twillingate. Very personable and knowledgeable. Also provided cold and rain gear as it was a cooler and rainy day. I would definitely use Dave again!

To start Mrs Dave makes sure everyone is warm and comfortable, and then Captain Dave makes the tour a memorable trip, as he is a photographer (one of his many talents) he insures everyone has a great view, with lots of photo opportunities.

A bit disappointing, it was more of a show and well, can't blame the captain for whales not being around. Not as informative as the other tour we took the day prior.

Captain Dave's Boat Tours
Today, we took Captain Dave’s tour out to see icebergs and local shoreline attractions. Dave also is a fantastic story teller. We did find a iceberg and we took a small piece of the iceberg home and had cocktails with the ice from the iceberg.

My wife and I booked a private tour with Capt. Dave for our 40th Anniversary and it turned out to be the experience of a lifetime, being awed by the scenery and beauty beyond all expectations.The legendary Captain did not disappoint, expertly guiding his boat through a rocky tickle and bringing us to a field of huge icebergs, where we fished out an anniversary pure-ice diamond out of a sea of floating iceberg pieces.The Captain and his family, shared with us stories and momentos of their life by the sea in beautiful Twillingate, Newfoundland and Labrador.Thank you so much again for this extraordinary adventure..

Magical amazing fun safe up close and personal iceberg viewing. They provide a full set of water proof warm coveralls and jacket for each passenger. I recommend you wear a toque and gloves.

We had a great tour with Captain Dave. Many icebergs to see and Dave was an expert navigating us around in very 'swell' waters. Ron made sure everyone on the boat was layered up and had warm gear (at least what they had available - lots wet from a previous tour). The icebergs were incredible!!

Captain Dave's Boat Tours
I would like to recommend Captain Dave. He is experienced, knowledgeable and very nice to each guest. My 8 year old boy really loved this boat tour, because he really had fun. Captain Dave took us to see a bald eagle nest and fed fish to them. My son also caught 3 fish with the help of Captain. It was an interesting and educative tour. Nothing important than the kid’s satisfaction when traveling with family. Hope can view the iceberg next time when we come here again in the right season!
