Falaise Park
I lived next to this park for a few years and never knew it had a name! Great big open green space between the back lanes of a neighborhood including a small swing set. Our secret location to view and enjoy fireworks without the hassle of traffic and being too close to the loud bangs.

A hilly green space with great North Shore mountain views from the south end top of the park - but no washroom. Several benches - sun and shade. A naturalized habitat area. Some fabulous trees. Interesting corner bench with a small bridge feature. Beautiful baseball diamonds. All in all, a great walk on a sunny day in East Vancouver ❤️

If you're looking for more of an open field rather than a park with things to look at that are interesting, this is the park for you. Don't get me wrong it has a nice view of the mountains and it is quiet even on the weekends. It just doesn't have a lot of things for you to look at. I don't know about the policy for off leash in regards to dogs but I do see people with their dogs playing fetch sometimes. If is located inside a residential neighbourhood so please be respectful of how loud you are especially at night. There are some park benches and it is a nice place for a picnic or BBQ as there are some bigger trees that provide shade.

Great place to bring your kids and have a picnic. Lots of apparatus for the kids, a huge off leash dog park for dogs and kids to run around! Historical plaque honouring war vets erected by the children of vets who originally lived in the area in the late 40's and 50's of which I am one!
