Dr. Halstrom Sleep Apnea & Snoring Clinics

I have been using the Silencer dental appliance for over 11 years now. I have mild sleep apnea but my snoring was loud enough to be heard by the neighbors. Once I started using the “Silencer” that changed almost immediately, and I noticed that I felt a lot more rested in the morning. After a couple follow up appointments where Dr. Halstrom made adjustments, my snoring and sleep apnea were no more, (which was a great relief to my wife).I had tried other procedures prior to getting the Silencer including laser surgery, and CPAP. The laser surgery was very painful and never worked. The CPAP I tried twice but I found there was no way I could sleep with a mask strapped to my head. I was also concerned with how cumbersome the CPAP would be for traveling or camping etc.My first appliance lasted over 10 years and I still have it for backup if need be. I had Dr. Halstrom make a new one last year and I am very pleased with it. The new one has a slightly thinner profile and it is more adjustable so it can be fined tuned to meet my requirements.Over the years, I had occasion to be at three of Dr. Halstrom’s Lower Mainland clinics and I received great professional service every time. I highly recommend the Silencer and Dr. Halstrom.
