The good - Friendly host. Beautiful mountain and river view. Location close and in the Fraser Valley. Affordable. Online reservations. Water/electricity hookups. Clean campground. Group camping accessible for sure. Cell service if needed. Seems like lots of camping spots available with overflow. The bad - the spot I wanted and that was available, I was told my trailer was too big for… only to show up and see an even LARGER trailer and 12x12 canopy in the spot. Spots along the water and in that area are bumper-to-bumper basically. Quiet time, if you’re quiet campers like us, was not observed or enforced. Our site had some garbage along the back that had been there for some time. $12 for 5 pieces of firewood.Worth a try, but we might not be back.

READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HERE!! I never leave reviews, but this one I had to. I have never felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable anywhere in my life. Campground manager was extremely rude. Ruined my entire time here. Rules were created for new campers and not upheld with other campsites, this was frustrating to say the least when we were asked to park our visitor at the parking lot, when at 11:30 at night there were camp sites with visitor vehicles partying all night, and nothing was done about this.

I called the reservation number numerous times with no answer. I left a voice-mail and my family and I drove in to view the campground while we waited to hear back. A woman stopped us while driving who was apparently the manager. She asked what we needed help with. I told her I had called several times and left a voice-mail as we were looking for a campsite for the night. She responded by telling me she was ignoring my calls while dealing with people in person on the campground. Instead of answering the business line she ignored my calls several times. I really didn't care for her attitude and the way she told us they are no longer accepting new reservations. When we left there were several open sites at 5pm. Very poor customer service here.

Host was great, very friendly and accommodating. Nice flat level sites right on the river. The only downfall was sites are side by side with very little privacy. Nevertheless get to meet new people. All good

We had the luck of staying at Cheam Fishing Village and Campground recently for a couple of nights. When we arrived, Jamie was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were able to have a riverside spot with a couple of little trails right down to the water. The campsite wasn't too busy, although most people were in RVs and not tenting like us. We were very impressed with how clean the campground was. On the second day we were there, there were 2 men picking up garbage, maintaining the grass and shrubbery, and a friendly smile for all. The bathrooms are port-a-potties, but they are the cleanest ones I've ever seen. We loved having such easy access to the river and some swimming holes, friendly fellow campers and such a great location. Highly recommended!

If it wasn't for the mosquitoes, Cheam would be a nice place to go, with a beautiful view of the mountains- but the mosquitoes just bombarded you, no matter how much repellent you put on! We had to leave all the time because we picked a location next to the river, and mosquitoes seem to be extremely attracted to me, so whenever I stepped outside, the mosquitoes attacked ferociously, and there was welts all over my body. It might have been nicer if you could swim in the river, but you can't because of safety hazards, so we had to always drive out to a lake to go swimming, which always seemed to have less mosquitoes. Otherwise, the view was quite nice, but it was definitely understaffed and you had to take your garbage home, they only accepted recyclable bottles because they could make money off it.

Don’t come here. Rules are inconsistent, terribly unwelcoming campground manager. Will tell you no visitors can park at your site but when other sites have 4+ visitors partying until 1am, the campground manager will do nothing. Save your money and find somewhere PEACEFUL.

Nice view but terribly rude unwelcoming host. Very inconsiderate. Host would likeyour extra car out of the campsite as soon as you drop off things or people even when there are no campers beside your campsite. Quite time is not being implemented accordingly. Host wont even let you cross the other campsite's boundary even just an inch. My son parked his bike just a foot crossing our neighboring site and we are asked move the bike. Host constantly goes around to intimidate campers. She's a raciat. Rules are only implemented to new or campers that the host do not like. Not family friendly campground. Lots of mosquitos and no washroom and no garbage disposal for a high priced campsite. This campgeound is only ideal for solo or couple campers! Worst camping experience we had!
